Want to Start PLR Business, Few Questions Beforehand
I was hoping that some experienced PLR sellers could answer a few of my questions, maybe help me find my way through this crowded market. I already have my niche planned out, I just have to get to work with setting up hosting and doing the writing.
1) Do you find that it's better to sell original PLR (ie: articles/content that you wrote yourself or procured from a freelance writer) or resell existing PLR? Original PLR seems to have so much more value, but it's obviously easier to buy products with a resell license and just slap it on your website. Do you find that original content works better, or should I take the easy approch?
2) Unlimited or limited packets. I've seen a lot of PLR sellers make limited article packets. For example, only about 100 packets will be sold before the articles are taken down. Is there any benefit to this? I know scarcity sells, but does it make a big difference in the PLR world?
3) What's a good theme for my website? I'm going to use WordPress (I'm sure nearly everyone else here does), so I was wondering what theme would you recommend for a PLR website? Way back when I was still in the game, Thesis was the big thing, but is that still true, or is there a better theme for my needs?
4) What websites are best for storing my downloadable products? I remember there were a ton of providers and some of them made it very easy to both store my products and setup affiliate sales, but I wanted to know who the best were now.
5) What niche is hot now? I'm already 90% sure of my niche (mental health) because I plan on getting my masters in psychology soon and want to delve deeper into the subject, but what other niches are really huge right now?
6) Is it a good idea to give out resell/master resell privileges with my content? I've always wondered if PLR content that people can resell does better, but I've never known.
Thank you so much to anyone who responds and helps me out, you're all great!
