Targeting the wealthy

All I want is to show the HNIs(High networth individuals) how good am I at making money from the stock markets. I have a blog (which is a part of my website) where I am uploading documents that shows how much profit I am making.

I am doing this in order to advertise my capabilities, hoping that interested HNIs will invest their money with me sometime in future AND they will share a part of profits that I will be generating for them using their money.

Once again, my aim is to advertise my blog (as well as website) to as many HNIs as possible. Please guide me so that I can achieve my goal.

For the most part, I agree.

Although being a stock trader myself ,there have been a few select ones I went to in the past who had track records.

You're never going to be taken seriously with such a gimmick. These schemes never work for getting the attention of savvy investors except perhaps for a good dismissive laugh.

Just because someone has money doesn't make them different than anyone else.

The stock market is loaded with people blowing through money making bad decisions every single day.

There's also plenty of popular investments sites/blogs on the web. Warren Buffett (Berkshire Hathaway) has a website and post at least quarterly. They don't post this info. online just because they can. It's advertising to draw in more investors.

Warren Buffet's investing style is precisely how "HNI" built and maintains their wealth. Some two-bit investment blogging comedian is not going to get even close to this demographic

Everyone that has money doesn't acquire money the same way and sure as hell doesn't acquire money by being business smart.

I personally know a guy that inherited $100k, he blew through it all in less than six months. He literally has nothing to show for the money.

Back in the 1980s my brother dated a girl, her parents owned a very successful business, sold the business and would blow through money (millions) without even thinking about tomorrow.

My point is just because someone has money doesn't mean they're smart about managing money.

And my point is the wealthy have a totally different mindset than just someone who has a lot of money to blow.

For example if your brother's girlfriend's parents had invested some of their millions with Warren Buffet (the Oracle of Omaha) back in the 1980s instead of blowing it all away, they would most likely now be among the ranks of HNI.

Currently, his company (Berkshire Hathaway) is trading close to $250,000 per share with an average growth rate of eye-popping 20%. That is the kind of results you need to get the attention of HNI investors.

I am already doing this for past 1 month and the response is quite positive. More than 50% of my emails are getting clicked everytime. Isn't that great?

Some times the emails are getting viewed as many times as 30-50 times per user.

    I have money to invest.

Based on your post alone, you will never get any.

You don't even seem to understand the basic mechanics:

I am doing this in order to advertise my capabilities, hoping that interested HNIs will invest their money with me sometime in future AND they will share a part of profits that I will be generating for them using their money.
If this is true, I suggest you find a marketing partner.

Put ads in those magazines you get on long haul flights. Rich people are always flying somewhere.

But seriously, this is a really tough niche for amateurs to rank in these days.

        They are in-flight magazines.

For example Emirates is one airline targeting HNI so they could be part of a bigger campaign to consider .

Here is the link to their inflight advertising page--->
        https://www.emirates.com/au/english/...vertising.aspx

Every airline has their own branded material and I would expect in the First Class and above end of air travel there is a wealth of options available for businesses with the capacity to pay and the ability to understand their metrics to enter that market.

It is not a small play and any business working in this area would have eye watering marketing budgets and a team wholly committed to generating returns for their outlay.

There is a reason only certain companies are promoted in this space.

        Can you justify the reason?

        Best regards,

        Ozi

I think you have a very good business plan, but I think the main problem you face right now is the fact that you haven't niched down as much as possible.

I'm going to assume that you are on your way of becoming a high net worth individual as well, if you are really that good at investing. The best way I think would be to constantly do blogs, make more videos, and project who you are out to the world.

Investment is a very personality driven environment, and the more people you can show/advertise to as what kind of investor you are, the more likely you are going to attract the individuals you will be able to bring on as a client and do business with. Make more case studies, back yourself up with reputable credentials, keep showing profits, and you will succeed. You only need a few high net worth individuals to really succeed, so I'd say still use the shotgun approach where your trying everything until you get those few high net worth investors. And explain to them why you are sharing your investment strategies when you are so successful yourself and could be succeeding all on your own and becoming wealthy.

One thing wealthy people hate is a distrustful individual when it comes to money. If you can prove otherwise on a very accurate and consistent basis, then you have lots of good business deals waiting for you in the future! <3

While I admired your ambition, may I ask how well do you know about the people you are targeting?

Do you want what they really need and want even if they are wealthy?

Have you checked out the blogs - the ones Google ranked well consistently in regards to stock trading and forums in stock market-

To see what people are actually looking for and need help in?

The reasons I am asking these is because how successful you are is determined by -

NOT what you think you are.

But how well do you know about your target audience and cater to their needs and wants?

Sorry if I sounded blunt and down-to-earth.

I am not trying to pull you down.

But if you just wanted successful for yourself by doing what you think is best for others which happens not to be what others need and want, then chances are you will fail.

If you looked at all the successful marketers out there, they all knew what their target audience wants and delivered the value of what they really need and want rather than assuming what they need and want.

Anthony Robbins, Eben Pagan and Ryan Deiss are some of the best at the time of writing this.

Since the dawn of human existence and civilization, there are 3 things that people want :

      -Health
      -Wealth
      -Love

I don't need to double confirm this or take any poll/survey to confirm this postulate. I am offering the second one (i.e "wealth").

Yes, I've checked out many of them and I have the answers -
what people are actually looking for

      They are looking for profits

One more thing, I don't upload my performance in forms of excel or any other indirect methods like most of the blogs do out there.
I directly upload screenshots of my portfolio(of course after hiding certain parts) and ledger to prove my ability.

The first thing I'd recommend is sprinting to your library or bookstore to get The Millionaire Next Door.

I'll give you a little bit of a spoiler....

    The people you are targeting....

If most of them sold everything and paid off all their debts, they'd be very lucky to have two pennies to rub together... They have the "artifacts of wealth." But, they are massively in debt to keep up that appearance.

You can read the book to get "the rest of the story."

You don't have a location listed - which stock markets are you using? Location is important due to finance laws regulating stock brokers and investment advisers. Is your business incorporated - licensed/registered, etc?

Why do you think your emails are being opened? Are you using hyped subject lines to get attention?

For example - in the past two months it might be easier than normal in the US to get people to open "how to invest in the stock markets" emails...because the markets have been shooting up and up - hitting record highs. Even people who don't usually invest in the stock market might be interested in reading about investing.

As an investor, the best way to get the attention of wealthier people is to become one of them.

This has now grown over the five years it has been founded, and now includes some high worth individuals. The point is I proved myself and the rest is by word of mouth so a very private club that has a waiting list.

The rich people are most unlikely to get attracted by making money through stocks. I am quite sure they are pretty much experienced with stocks. That's why they are rich.

Rather concentrate on their spending nature. If you can track their spending, you can find a way to track the people also.

I'd suggest creating a targeting campaign that goes after individuals within this bracket..

You need to go where they go.. which [to be honest] probably isn't perusing around online or reading a blog about investing..

They have staff to do that for them..

Just think of where these types of "dream clients" gather and GO THERE!

Note; Richard Branson's folks asked me to be on his blog. He didn't directly do biz with me but....he has a fairly high net worth and appearing on Virgin kinda boosted my net worth too LOL! Don't let some Warriors dissuade you; if you do things from the right energy you will connect with big fishies.

        Ryan
The individuals you want to reach are not paying attention to Facebook ads or searching Google for investing blogs.

Once you get to a certain level, it's mainly word of mouth. The problem with posting results is that the results can be skewed by careful selection of dates. Not saying you do this, but it's so common that many will assume you do. But a referral from a friend of a friend, who knows a guy, who knows... can get you a guest spot (with an implied endorsement) on influential sites, which can get the attention of the people you seek.

This is also crucial. Appearance is important. Using some addon domain says "I can't (or won't) pony up $10 a year for a real business name", which will ruin your credibility. That's why banks and investment houses have fancy offices and buildings instead of a shop at the local strip mall.

One thing I am finding difficult to understand..several members are underestimating the power of websites blogs and other online communications strategies.

While its true that a deal should not be closed just by looking at a blog or website, it can be an excellent starting point of building connection with potential clients.

If internet is such a worthless place to be in then what are they doing here themselves?
