New Clickbank Vendor

Hi, I'm going to be signing up for clickbank as a vendor soon and have a few anxieties in the back of my mind.

I have my reasons for choosing Clickbank and my mind is rock solid on my choice to use them so if you do offer me advice please don't give the advice to use something other than Clickbank.

One thing I think about sometimes is just signing up and getting my product on and approved and everything working, is that all pretty straight forward and easy to do?

Also, my product will be 2 mp3's and a pdf so I'm wondering the best free way to deliver that, I use wordpress and have very little experience with wordpress. I'm thinking just have my download page have 3 links so one link is the 1st mp3 the 2nd link is the next mp3 and the 3rd link is the pdf. I heard though that wordpress only let's you do small files and the pdf should be pretty small but each mp3 is a little over 90 minutes. Is there any way to still deliver them using wordpress for free?

Another thing I wonder about is the $50 vendor sign up fee. Is that a one time fee, or if i make more products in the future do I pay 50 dollars every time?

Another thing I have on my mind is the clickbank badge. Is there any simple ways for a wordpress newbie to add the clickbank badge to the sales page? That's one of my biggest anxieties.

And then, I'm curious on how to get affiliates, will they just find my product automatically or will my product be hard to find? It's in the dating niche. I see there's 25 pages in the dating niche, so will my product be in those 25 pages?? That is not very many pages so I'm wondering is it hard to get listed in those pages? Am I about to make a lot of money??? The most money I ever had at once is $2,400 USD, the most money I ever made working was as a pizza delivery boy. If I made that much again I would be so happy but I want to make it working for myself not make it as a pizza boy. Should I even expect any sales? Is it possible to just be a normal non famous guy and start making a lot of money, like be able to realistically afford my own 1 bedroom apartment?

hmm, I think that's about it, i'm worried about how to get affiliates, wondering if I will show up in those 25 pages in the dating niche, wondering if wordpress newbies can set up the click bank badge, and wondering if there was any headaches you came across when signing up that you wish you would have known about. And lastly, the best way to deliver 2 large mp3's and a pdf for free. (I'm not cheap I'm poor right now.)

    I know you are set on clickbank. If it is a niche other than MMO or Internet Marketing you are probably good to go with clickbank. If, however, your niche is MMO or Internet Marketing be prepared for a lot of refunds.

    Also, I would contact clickbank with your other questions. They have a pretty decent support system, especially for new vendors

    Clickbank is great. I started out using them many years ago. They do have a lot of affiliates and still today.

    But like agmccall mentioned, if it's internet marketing related for some reason there is always high refunds. Clickbank has always offered a 60-day refund policy and I think this has been highly abused over the years.

    You say you're using Wordpress. You can change the upload file to what you're wanting. If you on a dedicated or VPS server you can change this within your php.ini file. If you're on a shared host, contact them and let them know to change this. For some reason Wordpress default upload limit is ridiculous.

    There is also a plugin called "Add from server". This allows any files with any size to be added directly from your server and uploads it in the backend to your media library.

    With the $50 vendor sign up fee, yes this is a one-time payment. But the strange thing about their system is if you are wanting to place another product within the marketplace, you cannot without having to sign up to a new account and pay another $50.

    Once you place your item within the marketplace after it has been approved it will get seen by affiliates.

    To make lots of money from selling products, there are lots of variables. But I wouldn't expect much for your first one. From there you will learn what to do and what not to do. It's all about trial and error.
