Selling Products Through Wordpress

by bwjstreet 9 replies
Hello,

I am currently selling a single physical product through a Wordpress based site. I am using Paypal as the payment processor.

I now want to sell multiple products and also be able to set up an affiliate program whilst retaining the site as it is.

Are there any affiliate managers/payment processors that I can buy to make it work with Wordpress?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can use ClickBank and simply integrate payment links into your Products... I'm not sure I see the problem.

PayDotCome is second popular option that works through PayPal. Just join the programs - create product there, replace your payment processor links from your current to one provided by CB or PDC and create a page where you explain people how to join the affiliate program for your products.

Sure, you could use PayPal, Google Checkout, any of those things will work with a Wordpress blog.

You've also got some affiliate program ideas above.

I also recommend Wordpress Affiliate Pro for masking your affiliate links and simplifying your life a bit.

    Thanks Alex,

As I said it's a physical product. What is to stop people claiming a refund for the product and then keeping it.

Paydotcom sounds good. I don't think it has taken off in the way it should. I guess it's all about image. Clickbank looks more professional.

Thanks for your comment Monty but it's an affiliate management solution I'm looking for as a vendor not an affiliate.

    Alex,

That would be the idea but in reality Clickbank are free and easy with their refunds regardless of your stance.

Yeah, I would go with PDC. Sorry I haven't reviewed their TOS lately but you control the refunds and commissions there so you have more options and more control while still have access to affiliate army
