I'm a little confused why you would start a blog on a topic you don't know well, but either way, personally i would research the he** out of the niche and learn as much as I could..

Learn a lot about your niche.

Figure out what questions people in the niche have, find the answer, post the answer on your blog.

  • Write content about what people ask.
Use yahoo answers and article directory sites (ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com, etc.) for inspiration.

Be patient and take some time out to research subject matter.Hiring another writer to create content for your blog doesn't guarantee that you will succeed. So why not become a student ?

Might want to try something you know a lot about or at least that you are passionate about. Otherwise you will want to quit. You can get info by reading articles, watching Youtube videos or buying PLR articles on your subject

1 problem, 1 solution blog posts you'll have to become knowledgeable, there's no other way around it. unless you have a lot of money to pay somebody who is.

Why are you in a niche that you know nothing about? Kind of does not make sense as you are starting to learn.

Browse Quora to find topics associated with your business niche or industry. Usually theread a lot of questions to be answered and if your business has the know-how to answer them, why not write a blog post about it?

Keep tabs on your industry related forums â€Â" theread always a lot of discussion there which could inspire you to write something new or potentially solve someon problem.

Find an expert in your industry and ask him nicely to guest post on your blog. He could share some valuable insight into a topic not discussed before.

Think like your reader. What would you as a reader like to read or get more information about?

Keep a notepad with you everywhere you go and write down every idea.
Research. If you find an interesting topic that has not yet been fully discovered or has out-of-date information, it’s probably a good idea to do in-depth research on it and publish the results.

Use content curation tools to find trending topics and stay in touch with the latest discussions. Perhaps you can turn one of those bits into a valuable post? For more details about content curation, check out this great post by Social Media Examiner

Be active in LinkedIn groups. You could potentially find a great and unexplored topic to write about.
Plan ahead. not likely you’re going to write a great post impromptu, instead you should plan few steps into the future and slowly develop new content to write about. Plan out your schedule and make some time each day to think about future blog posts.

    Hi J,

Research your niche: through Google, by reading top blogs from your niche, by reading comments from top blogs in your niche, by asking readers from your blog or other blogs from your niche what they struggle with, by trawling Warrior and Quora searching keywords related to your niche.

Or you can hire someone to write the articles for you.

Note; getting into blogging *without* following your fun - aka not blogging on a topic you have fun blogging about - is the #1 mistake I've seen bloggers make in the near decade I've been blogging and have been online.

Blog on a topic you love talking about. Then you'll never run out of content creation ideas.

I was about to write something like...

If you're planning to go for a niche that you're not quite familiar with, the answer there would be extensive research. Learn about it as much as you can. Delegating tasks is one thing but if you're just starting out, it's best to stick with the skills you currently have and not pay someone to do the job for you.

If you're really serious about getting started on blogging, I suggest you pick a niche that you're passionate about and invest time growing it. It's easy to just pay somebody to do the work for you but where's the fun in that?

...but then I noticed that the OP has been banned so...

    :-)

  • Post on Forums related to your Niche, asking what people may be confused about, or have questions about... Just find what people want answered, figure out what they may be too lazy to look up on Google.

Go to Google yourself, find the answers, and create a blog about it. Or multiples.

I had an experience like this before, and that's what I did. It seemed to work out pretty well. Good luck!

    Bad idea, my friend.

From the other hand, I've got some cool tip for you.

You may be a total newbiee, but this will not stop you from creating a successful blog.

Just don't try to establish yourself as an authority.

Example: You wanna start a blog about investing in the stock market, but you don't have a clue about blue chips, certificates of deposit, and moreover you're struggling with money.

And that's fine. Share your journey, share your story how you get rid of a debt, how you start saving money, and how you create wealth. People like online challenges.

A blog by a fake, self-proclaimed guru, or a blog by an honest beginner, who's sharing his story. I'd subscribe to the second one.

Basically, you need to ofc learn a lot, as you can't market something you don't love doing.
If you just want to run on autopilot and have plans for adsense(usual monetization), then you can either get a plugin to fetch articles from around the web, or go to freelance sites like Freelancer, Fiverr to get articles written for $5-your wish.
    Hope it helps!

    Get interviews.

    Pretty easy.

Make sure you bring something of value to the table though.

Most experts wouldn't mind giving you 100% original content in exchange for traffic and BRANDING.

There are also DFY content sites available in the WSOs on here. Or you could get one of those plugins to make a video store on your site. Those should be very engaging for Google analytics
