Question about exit popup advanced feature...

Hi,

For instance if you have an optin box and an exit popup (to get subscribers for the same list), it's useless to display the exit popup to visitors who already opted in via optin box. They don't need to see it.

Any tool that does this kind of thing?

    I think most of the larger mail service providers like Aweber, GetResponse or Mailchimp, limit the pop-up appearance to one appearance per browser or IP address. That's been my experience.

    A better bet is to use a slide in bar. Much less obtrusive and the entire site is pretty much visible. The bar remains at the top or bottom of the page. With my GetResponse bar you can click on a 'No Thanks, I'm OK' button and it will disappear (affiliatecounselor.com).

    If you are not a GetResponse patron, there are free versions of this type of Signup Box at HelloBar.
