A cheap & good hosting provider for a temporary website?

Hi warriors,

I'm trying to create a modest WP website to apply for Amazon affiliate. So now I'm looking for a WP hosting provider for a one month or two plan, which is the time I need to add some content to my website. Both Bluehost and Siteground offer a minimum 12 months plan.

The reason I chose WP is that I've always wanted to learn it, but I'm open to any CMS. I'd love to know your opinions/recommendations. Thanks in advance.

Then you will get approved by amazon, then when they find out you no longer have the website you will get banned. and once you get banned for pulling a stunt like that, you will never get another account.

So, instead of playing games, why don't you take it seriously and do it right. Do your niche research, build a legitimate site, then get your account and use it

I know many youtubers who use solely youtube to promote Amazon products. They must have needed a website when they applied for the affiliate program if I'm not wrong.

Just because people do things does not mean it is OK. If you read the amazon program policies they state that all sites you are using must be approved by them. And like I said before if they check that site in the future your account will be gone.

So, it would be in your best interest to create a site, keep it, develop it and send visitors from youtube to your site. Then you can grab their email address as well so you can continue to market to your audience.

Also keep in mind that the amazon disclaimer will have to be on every video you make if you were to direct link.

you missed out the step when he comes back on here saying how Amazon screwed him and owe him money, followed by posts asking how to get his amazon account back.

I'm always amazed at how hard people will work to avoid doing work

Bluehost and Siteground do offer a 1-month subscription, but you should pay some taxes for setting up the server.

I expect you are wrong - those marketers advertising with videos probably do have websites. The "go to" argument is so often "well, HE does it" - but that won't save you if Amazon bans your acct.

Amazon clearly states you must have a good website to be an affiliate. If you can't follow that basic rule - why start at all?

I'm going to pull a fast one on Amazon. I know they've seen every possible attempt to scam your way in, but I'll be ok.

As many people said here, I think, Godaddy is the best. It's cheap, sure and stable. It's also simple to use. I don't know the other hosting website mentionned here. (expect wordpress.)

I recommend using DigitalOcean, great uptime and performance and ridiculously cheap. Moreover, they charge per hour!

You can get month to month hosting at Hostgator. It costs more than prepaying, but you can cancel at any time.

BlueHost is inexpensive - even for a year. I would echo other comments on this thread. Amazon will almost certainly ban you unless you maintain a web presence.

Create a quality blog and keep it up permanently. Let it age like a fine wine and increase in value over the years with all the great content you will post on it.

Pay heed to what agmccall advised you.

Having said that, I recommend HawkHost for reliable and affordable web hosting.
