Question about Affiliate Marketing

I've been online for 2 years making good money selling business opportunities.

But now I'm starting to market some affiliate Clickbank products.

My question is: Is it mandatory to use a squeeze page or should I send customers directly to the product's sales page.

Does it really matter?

    No, it's not mandatory to send to a squeeze page. You can send them to a squeeze page OR your sales page, it's totally up to you. I recommend using a squeeze page to capture leads and then market your product to them over the course of your emails. Of course deliver great value the first several messages, then you can proceed to sell your product to them.

    Also, add an inobtrusive optin form to your sales page. Those that don't buy your product, chances are, may optin and then you can sell that same product to them again. The difference is, this time you've built a relationship and hopefully delivered some great value so they have an even better reason to buy the second time.

    The squeeze page is always your best bet. Always capture their info ASAP!! Then if they back out you will still be able to market to them in the future.

    If possible you should start your prospects off with a squeeze page to capture their email addresses and keep them in your orbit as long as possible.

    This way you're building a long term asset ( your lists ) for your business instead of just giving most/99% of your prospects away.

    If you're promoting other people's products as an affiliate, it's almost always better to send your traffic to a squeeze page.

    That way you're building a list that you can build relationship with and later on recommend related product to them.
