The Most Tedious Task?

Apart from writing articles (we all know how tedious that can be), what is the most time-consuming task you do on a daily basis that isn't automated?

A lot of tasks can be automated using software these days, like keyword research, article submitting, spinning, creating e-covers, web pages, landing pages etc etc.

So what is the most tedious task you do manually everyday?

I'll begin... Mine is graphic designing, stuff like logos, ads etc.

Thanks,
Adam

    Hi!

Well... mine is sending quotes to potential customers. Sometimes I spend 2/3 hours per day with that. If they accept it, good! If not it is waste of time.

Email is probably the most tedious. I'm currently not in a position where I can outsource that but something you definitely should if you've got the capital. A good VA in the U.S would help tremendously.

Ah yes, replying, answering and deleting emails. That definitely can be time consuming. Especially as I answer all emails personally.

I've automated everything that can be automated.

As others have said it's dealing with customers and potential customers emails and phone calls. After the third time you get asked the same question you are mostly cutting and pasting from previous replies but it's still tedious.

Have you tried putting your contact form at the bottom of a FAQ? Might cut down on some of that. I know I try to find FAQs first because I don't like waiting for answers to emails.

There's even software to help you with that.

The first iteration came, I think, from Mike Chen -- wherever he may be.
(Shouldn't he be about done with College now ? LOL. So much for Free Agent Path.)

Design...be it websites, logos, banners etc...I always liked doing my own graphics IF I have the inspiration to do it, but I am a bit of a perfectionist and that takes alot of time

Well since you said apart from writing articles - that was going to be my answer!!

The other one for me is transferring websites after the sale - I find that very tedious.

If you can automate it, then automate it indeed and get manual work outsourced and leave the heady stuff to yourself.
