URL-Redirect Question-Aff Marketing

Hey all,

I have a quick question about redirecting a url.

I will be writing an article and need to place my affiliate link in the article itself (this is for article base).

I'm not sure -or I should say-I am confused on how to do it.

Not sure what url goes where.

I am using hostgator and they have a video tutorial that I will use, but still confused about which url goes where.

The domain name I will use is pdq-blog.com

In Hostgator Redirects...............
__________________________________________________ ____________

I know to leave "Type" at Permanent 301

2nd line: has me confused and so does 3rd line.

I am assuming the 2nd line would be pdq-blog.com

And third line would be my affiliate link?

Then when I put the link in my article;which link do I use?

I'm trying to get whomever clicks the link in the article, to go to an email submit offer, not to my website.

This procedure is not making sense to me.

You could just use a 'link cloaker' which makes a html page and redirect via that.

      Tony,

      Could you elaborate?

I want the Cpa offer to be clickable inside the article. But I think I just need to make my link prettier?

In your article - once you have cloaked the link and made the html file - which you put on your server where you website resides - you simply address the html file:-
        <a href="my-cloaked-page.html">See My Great Offer Here</a>

Or whatever text fits in the article - maybe not "See My Great Offer Here".

Usually you would use some keywords here for the search engines to get higher ranking for those keywords!
