How Should I Monetize This Site?

I purchased a site rather cheaply a few months back. It had a good amount of traffic and it needed an overhaul, so I felt like it was a good value buy.

The site provides Subtitles for Movies/TV Shows etc. So the quality of the traffic is extremely low quality but I always like to think there's a way to monetize every site.

What I've Done/Tried
  • I've overhauled the site and made it look a lot nicer.
  • I've tested some different adsense alternatives to see about getting steady income from ads. This has led to a few cents here and there.
  • I've tried some Commission Junction banners. No sales from those.
  • I've created an optin box. I get roughly 3-6 subscribers per day. I'm currently at 400 subscribers

I'm hoping the wisdom of WF will be able to help me come up with some ways to monetize the traffic to the site and the list?

I can't seem to find any good offers for these type of visitors.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Can you make something small to offer? Maybe purchase the digital rights for something and package it into a small offer.

    Maybe you can put amazon affiliate links to DVDs and Box sets with HD quality under subtitle download.

    Also don't let them download the subtitles directly.. take them to a landing page where can show them a cpa offer like opensubs and download the subs in background.
