Step By Step to Get eBook Listed on Amazon

INTERNET MARKETING

Okay I had these instructions a long time ago and put it off and now that I'm ready I lost them

I want to put my eBook up for sale on Amazon like Rosalind Gardner did with the Super Affiliates Handbook.

I need step by step instructions. Anyone know where to find them? I keep trying to Google how to put eBook on Amazon and getting results about how to books that are sold on Amazon.

Didn't a book had be at least like 120 pages something long so it gets listed on amazon?

Hey Michael - is CreateSpace or LuLu better? I'm getting a little intimidated reading about all this now. Formatting the thing, ISBNs etc. This is how I felt before I knew how to launch my own eBook lol

You will have to do the book formatting (it's like any usual PDF), and design a book cover according to CreateSpace specs (they have an auto-cover builder, btw, which is easy to use). They will assign you ISBN, if you prefer that.

I used a service run by two nice folks, called PublishingGurus.com who handled the formatting at affordable rates and very promptly.

With Lulu.com (I'm not absolutely certain, though), you have to arrange for books to be stocked by Amazon.com (unless that's an add-on service they provide).

Hey Tiffany, there was a post in the war room awhile back offering a free report on self-publishing on Amazon. I can't speak for the quality since I haven't read it myself but it did get a lot of positive feedback. It was still on the first page in thewar room last I checked.

The minimum requirement is 24 Pages, and it has to be a properly formatted pdf when uploading. Amazon will assign you an ISBN if you need one, the review process for a book takes no more then 24hrs. After that is done you need to order a proof of the book, which takes about a week to arrive and costs around $7.00 depending on how fast you want it shipped.

After that it takes a couple weeks for it to get listed on Amazon itself.

Wow, what a great thread. I wrote a 100-page book on how to buy, sell and flip established websites but the main part is how is to buy a website with little or no money down. This is awesome. Kudos to everyone for their input. Head over right now.
