Best eCommerce site - for physical products?

I'm looking for a solution to setting up an eCommerce site for selling physical products. I want it to be an easy, plug-n-play type deal. I've heard good and bad about using yahoo storefront, but want to look at more options. Any suggestions?

The fees for Yahoo Storefront are too expensive. OS Commerce is free but nobody is obliged to give you support.

Personally, I will go for x-cart or its cousin litecommerce if I start selling physical products again. We used to run more than 50 orders a day through litecommerce without any problems.

Other free options you can look at are zencart and cubecart. The latter can be upgraded to a paid option if you want. If you are not selling many products, you can also look at Mal's e-commerce, it will plug right into your existing site.

It is most important that the cart you choose is SEO friendly. If you make a mistake now, it could cost you lots of lost orders later on.

I have been using Mals ecommerce for both digital and physical products which has been working well. I have a sample of it at work here at PLR Private Label Rights Articles
