  • It just depends you may never be able to make anything or you may make a lot of money .

It will depend on your commitment level, skill sets and what niche you are targeting ?

There are various factors to this and there is no right or wrong answer

Don't expect your website to go viral right after you launch it. I know a lot of people who have built these kinds of authority style websites. But success comes over a long period of time. One thing that you begin to notice as you build more and more websites is that a lot of the projects will kind of suck for the first six months. Traffic levels will be relatively low as things build up steam slowly. Revenues will be low as you experiment with making money one way or another. In order for your site to rank high in the major search engines, you are going to need to get some links pointing back at your pages. That takes time and it takes work. So, the truth of the matter is that you can expect it to take at least several months at the very minimum. Chances are it is going to take you much longer than that to get your site earning what you would consider to be a good amount of income.

Real money?? ohh. i would just try to join the disscussion, and say that IF YOU USE A GOOD ads source then it real not fake, moreover, as you make quality backlinks, and able to compete your competitor. you won. but if you cant make quality backlinks then time cannot make your website ranked. thats it. hope it helps.

That was in "08". Things have changed a lot and it's much more difficult now.

If you are talking about SEO only, then sorry to be the bearer of reality but the odds say you never will.

Concentrate on making your first dollar. Then your first $100 and so on.

Set small, achievable goals or you will likely be disappointed.

It depends on a few factors:

    1. The value of the offer you are promoting as to whether people actually need and want them.

    2. How you present that value

    3. How much time and effort you put into those 2

I can give you many other factors as well.

But from my experiences as well as of others, those are the common ones I have identified.

Oh and quoting someone's comment would be great so the users who posted answers to your questions can easily know that you have a follow-up questions for them. It would also be great if you quote each posts and comment on them and submit it as one post.

Some think months, some even think years. I think if you haven't sold anything within a week, your marketing efforts are bleak and/or your product isn't what people want.

Instead of using a generalization - "an e commerce website," pick a niche market that has plenty of room for more players.

*HINT - there's always room for another player, you just have to be more creative than the older ones*

I've seen websites that never make one single sale, and I've seen others that were profitable within minutes of launching. It depends on YOUR choices, YOUR effort, and YOUR ability to stand out in a crowd.

I recommend you take time to learn how the system works before you think of earning.Basically nothing worth achieving comes easy though. You need to work hard to earn it.Firstly, put your mind in proper perspective becuase success embraces a right mindset.Secondly,I think one of the ways to monetize your website real fast is to build a huge subscriber list. Offer them something of value in exchange for their email address e.g. a free digital report with great content will attract them to opt-in to your list. Bear in mind not all your subscribers will convert but a few like 5% at least will. The old adage say " the money is in your list" That is to say the more subcribers you get the more money you make. In conclusion, making money with your website totally depends on the level of commitment you put in to your work.A rule of thumb, LEARN TO EARN!

I understand how you feel maintaining the right mindset when it seem like you are not making profit yet buddy! You see patience is power! You need it in order to succeed when building your business model. On the other hand, business is all about investment.Don't expect to get ROI immediately. I think, you should focus on building your business rather than how much you can make at the moment. Probably you are operating on expenses now however, be rest assured when you have gathered enough expertise and figured out the formula to online success your begin to thrive.Best of success!

    It took me, literally, years.

However, for you, it may take 1 day or 1 month, or 1 year or...

You see, it depends. It depends upon what you are selling. To what market? What is your business model? What is your economic model? What is your propensity for risk? How much time can you devote to it? What is the competition like? What other platforms are involved? Is it high value or high volume product? And so on...

Nobody can give you the answer you're seeking without fairly detailed knowledge of what you're doing. Even then, at best, it will be an educated guess.

If it helps, it took me years. I explored various different types of online business models, followed a lot of gurus, got completely disillusioned with the whole thing. Then I found a business model that worked for me and now I have a very substantial ecommerce business.

But, as I indicated, your 'mileeage may vary'. In any case, whatever you do, good luck with your ventures.

    TWO WHOLE WEEKS?

Wow, how did you last that long?

    [/sarcasm]

It takes time, and two weeks is no time at all.

If you could get Sherman and Mr. Peabody to use the Wayback Machine and take you back to pre-2000, this might have made sense.

If you keep adding "great content" and in six months you still only have one post and it's buried twenty pages deep, you might have a problem.

Much as it pains me to say it, great content alone is not enough. You need other people to affirm that the content is great, in the form of engagement (things like comments, time on page, etc.) and links (backlinks from other related sites, social shares, etc.)

If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is there to hear it, does it still make a sound?

Simple physics suggests that, yes, it does make a sound. But if no hears hears it, does it really matter?

Same with "great content". (I'm using quotes a lot because none of us have actually seen this content, and at this point Papa Google doesn't seem to think much of it yet.)

If you put up a great blog post and no one reads it, is it really a great blog post? And if no one sees it, does it really matter?

Sorry to go all Zen on you there...

Bottom line, stop waiting for Google to do all the work for you. In the beginning, spend 20% of your time creating content and 80% ethically promoting it. The rankings will come.

Making money online has never been easier! However, there are a lot ways to make money online.

It can take a while to make money from a website. If something doesn't work, try something else. Don't just give up. The main reason people fail , isn't because their idea or website is bad but because they give up too soon.

    All the best !!

It depends on what niche you have selected, whether that niche is in demand, who you are targeting at and how you approach and advertise to them?

I do not have a specific answer to your question.

Even if I do, it might not work for you as my niche is different from yours.

Instead of asking questions like How To Make Money, How To Get Traffic and How Fast Can I Make Money like everyone, the questions you should be asking Based On What I Know, How Can I Help Others Based On Their Needs And Wants?

Because once you know the answer and TAKE ACTION, making money should not be a problem to you.

I agree with some of the stuff here.

Real money never come for me until I was doing like Real list building.

here are my stats I worked out today. ...

    0 list = $0 dollars.

list of 3000 = I was making $2000 per month.

list of 10,000 I was making about $7000 per month.

Now I have a list about 100,000 or so, and my income keep going up incrementally.

But go back to my first part of my post, I had 0 people in my email list and I was making $0

I am sure you now know what to do. LIST BUILD till your ass hurts from hustling. Hope it helps.

When my mentor said stop dikin around and start building a LIST, big things started to happen, and I was finally able to make real money with a real website.

    Hopefully this answers your question.

  • How much does it take to get a date with a cute girl?

Some guys can go now on the street and in 15 minutes, get a date. Maybe, by the end of the evening, they'll get the girl. Other guys struggle for years to get a date and when they do, they crash and burn.

    What does it mean?

It depends on your skills. If you are one of the few marketers that have earned over $1.000.000, he can start earning money in 48 - 72 hours from scratch. If you're starting from zero, with no skills, no proper mindset, no background, then it is between now and ever.

Success online is not based on the business model but on the background and on the skills you have.

It is not how long it take to make money with your website. It is how many people you can direct to your website. Is it something people want or need? So direct as many people as you can to your website and get a interest in helping people. Sales will come. Even use Facebook to direct to your website.
