Should i make an online course?

Hello,

Ive done some courses. On social media SEO PPC and article writing. Ive also worked as a freelancer in those domains. I know them. But the fact that i didn„t manage a fb page with thousands of likes, ranked a site on the first page, or write articles worth hundreds of dollars. Is that a problem in order to make a course on UDEMY?

I not sure if I'm clear on your question, but from what I understand I will answer. So basically, sites like UDEMY have their own audience. If your classes are good you can build your own following through them, focus on the quality of your courses to build your fans/followers/traffic... But I wouldn't stop there, try using all of the other online course sites available for more exposure.

    Lynda
    Skillshare
    Udemy
    Coursera Review

    Hope that helps a little.

Don't try to find a shortcut, when you don't even know where your going.

Hey Bm2, I think creating a course on Udemy, Teachable or a similar website requires vast experience on a topic for your content to excel. The majority of the classes are $15-20 each. Obviously, the strategy here lies in volume in order to make enough money to justify your time. I would not start and focus my efforts in learning before creating a course. When you are ready, I suggest you create several, not just one.

oh ok. Lol I would't teach anyone something you have not actually done. Honestly half the stuff you learn from so called gurus are from things they really never done before just stuff they saw someone selling. So you really dont know what "basic stuff" is until you actually do it and see what results you get. You will better understand what you are teaching once you actually do the courses you learned. They may not even work like you that they would.

It's not a problem at all, at the end of the day there will be people out there who have done less than you & to them you are an expert in what you DO know... My advice, go ahead & do it

If you can do a quality one, yes. And preferably one that you have had some success in yourself.

I found once you start with creating your own Product and if it is decent...well things start to open up for you.

And the more you can get them out there the more things start to open up to you in a most postive way
