What is the best way to attract affiliate marketers without having to pay an online medium? My company currently offers a great deal for affiliate marketers. Pay-outs when we gain subscribers to our world-renowned, on-demand streaming service through a link affiliates attach to their blog or website.

  • If your service is world renowned I would think you would be able to afford to pay a reputable recruiter

      I agree with Al. In fact, you shouldn't mind about "having to pay an online medium" at all.
  • Create your own affiliate program. There are services online for this, just google it.

    The issue you will find is getting volume marketers in. Most don't want to sign up for umpteen different affiliate programs from different companies with different rules etc.

    Also be careful because if your system is not top notch and you miscount sales, don't pay on time etc. These guys will be ruthless with you and it could ruin you.

  • Does this mean you are unwilling to offer a "2nd tier" i.e. compensation to one affiliate for recruiting other affiliates? Also, does your program award lifetime recurring commissions or only short term?
