Best WSO for cash-strapped newbie

Hi guys,

I've been a long-time lurker here and just joined. However, I really need WSO advice from some of you seasoned members - going through all these WSO's has got my head spinning - plus I'm pretty darn cash-strapped at the moment.

So what are the best tried and true WSO options for a newbie able to invest $50-100 in TOTAL (purchase&running costs)? I have time and drive so workload is not an issue. Just can't fork out a small fortune at the minute, is all.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Heya! Welcome to the wonderful world of IM.

I think the first thing to do is identify what digital progression you're looking for. Besides making money online, what do you actually want to learn, master, build, focus on? (SEO, adwords, eCommerce)

I'm sure members can help once you've established what direction you want to move towards.

Side note: I'm hoping this post isn't an invitation for a whole stack of self-plugging from WSO sellers

    ( I'm watching you guys >_> )

      Hello and thank you!

I did think to narrow down but honestly, I don't really care much what it is as long as it fits my budget and is newbie-friendly - and has good payoff of course. I've seen list-building WSOs and white label web dev. WSOs, both of which appeal to me.

I'm willing to learn anything so long as it's worthwhile - which is where advice from seasoned member comes in!

What's your end goal? Do you want a nice side income? Are you looking for job replacing income? Are you looking for the "laptop lifestyle"? Are you looking to start a business and have employees? Are you a good writer? What are your strengths?

      Hi Brian,

Yes, I'm looking to make this my only job and have the time to commit full-time from now.

Skills-wise, I really can't pinpoint strengths and weaknesses being that I'm a newbie to this whole thing. The most I've had experience with is dropshipping as Ive done that in the past.

I think the only method I have no interest in is content-writing. I'm open to learning everything else.

Since you are open to anything (more on that later) ... But the easiest way is (in my view)...

    1. Check out the WSOs which are opened since a long time & active.
    2. Read through them & find the ones with high numbered comments.
    3. Check if there are any comments in the recent past.
    4. Check if that topic is relevant to you & current situations.
    5. Contact the author with your questions.
    6. Check out the testimonials & reviews from others.
    7. Make sure that you find atleast reviews from some veterans & if they are available on this forum still.
    8. Not to be in the last, but check out the authors' presence & their previous posts, responses, activity
    9. If you can ... get to know the refund rate of the product you wish to finalize.
    10. Give your info to the author & ask them if the product you chose can help you with. (Most of the authors who are good with their customers inform you right away if the product is good fit for you or not)

Being open to anything is OK... but that could get you to a rabbit hole. Since you mentioned you were doing dropshipping in the past ... you may start Ecom related stuff (if not here, any other places). Try to work on something that you already know, that can atleast save some time for sure (Not sure if you had any other reason to move out of Dropshipping though)

    Hope this helps ...

What do you want to learn first. Amazon, Social media, Paid Advertising, etc. etc.

There are many things to learn so answering a generic question might not be in your best interest. There is tons of free info out there just google what you are looking for. Then when you have an idea of the direction you want to take, come back here and ask again

I know in the past I always like Paul Nicholls stuff. He does't post many WSOs these days now but you can do a search to find some of his old ( but still effective) products.

    Like I said good stuff

    Hi all!

Apologies for the delay and thanks so much for all your helpful replies so far.

I'm looking into Paul Nicholls and a couple of other options atm - like I said, aside from content-based (writing stuff) affiliate marketing - I'm open to learning anything.

Seems like your just going from one WSO to the next. Why don't you knuckle down, focus on taking Action on One WSO until you make it work? Focus on one traffic source. Focus on promoting one product. I'm sure you can ask the vendor of your favourite WSO so far to accept your affiliate request. Then just promote the hell out of that product. If you have a small budget just use free traffic like forums and instagram.
