will I win this charge back? How?

INTERNET MARKETING

I got a charge back from paypal. It is an order about 6 months ago. Now, I want to fight for it. It is for a software which was downloaded and used by the buyer. But I didn't have any proof on paper. All I have is the record in our database.

How can I win this charge back? Any suggestions?

well write down all the details of the correspondence that took place between you and the buyer. with dates and quotes ....

What were your intitial commitments about the software and how the buyer responded and respond with facts and details ..

dont' just go on writing an email ... and expect to win the charge back .. if you are confident that you didn't do anythign wrong i am sure then you'll get right back up ..with this ...

I've never had to wait more than 24 hours to win with that defense - I won one in 15 minutes that way.

Not sure if it still works but it has yet to fail me.

thanks. but is it for dispute? or charge back? for dispute, I think it is paypal's decision. but for charge back, paypal has no control. I could be wrong though.

I've been told theres difference - chargeback is person calls credit card comapny / dispute is only with paypal.

I know if its a dispute - that's always won fror me.

If it's auctually a chargeback then I'm not sure.

If it's a chargeback, isn't 6 months outside most CC co's chargeback eligibility period?

  If it's a chargeback, Paypal can do nothing except refund the guy (and pass the buck onto you). But if it's a dispute, you can claim that it's a digital product (which is not covered by the Buyer's Protection scheme). However, given that it's been 6 months, it seems more likely to be a chargeback than a dispute.
