Hi everyone hope everyone is okay

lets get to it
Is it possible to get templates for blogger apart from the standard ones that come when you start a new blog also i seem to have a lot of problems with adding code in htlm to the blog site, for example i have tried to add some html to track people on my new site(amount of visitors)

should i ditch blogger and work on wordpress instead, im just coming to terms with blogger and trying to make a good blogsite up using it but it seems far less perfect then wordpress,

any help apprecated

If I were you, I would definitely go with wp rather than blogger. But go with the option where its your own domain name and hosting.

Aside from the template issue, this will ensure you have total control over your own site. Use free wp and blogger to link to your site for backlink juice.

Agreed re: self-hosting and using WP.

To answer the rest of your question... Yes, there are multiple themes for blogger created by third parties. Many are free. Mashable is a good place to get started: http://mashable.com/2008/05/17/70-pl...ger-templates/

In terms of tracking, I'd recommend using Google Analytics. You can insert the analytics code into any blogger blog fairly easily. If you're using one of their templates, just "add a gadget" (html) to the footer and insert your analytics code. You'll need to go the manual route if you're using a non-blogspot theme.
