very long P.S. on a sales letter???

For some dumb reason on my sales page I have a very long P.S. area below where they can click to order. It just turned out that way. Is that a bad idea? Should it be shortened to say 3 P.S.'s max? I think I have like 10 or more. They're all good points but I fear it's overkill.

Test the 10 and compare to what happens with 1, then with 3. Based on what you find, you may want to test more extensively.

Without seeing it, my guess is that there's a lot missing from your sales letter if you need to have 10 PS'

    Every marketer is different...

So, it's not that the p.s.'s are bad, it's the content that falls below them. I would highly suggest you to test but just make sure there's a nice flow to your content. Whatever's above should have some type of relation to what's below, either a continuation or something on the same pattern of thought.

I think some of the best uses of p.s.'s are short inserts or verbiage that creates certainty because at the end before a person goes to buy is when they get cold feet.

Now, it really does not matter what your sales page says if you have already warmed them up before they even see it. So the question is more about what's the mindset of the prospect seeing that page and did you create that mindset so that they know what they are reading on the sales page is very relevant to what they read on the previous page.

    You're doing great, believe me.
