Solo Ads vs. PPC

I've heard that solo ads to the right list is more beneficial and targeted than PPC advertising. Anyone have an opinion on this?

Yes, it is true provided you are buying from the right seller.

The best way to find the right seller is to simply do a Facebook Group search by typing the words Solo Ads Sales Testimonials.

And the reason why you need to do that is because in those groups, it comprises of real customers providing positive testimonials of the sellers they invested in and make leads and money from.

I know someone that is doing over million per year with solo ads and I know someone doing over a million doing PPC. At the same time, there are countless stories about neither working for users.

So with pretty much any traffic source, there will be those that love it and hate it. All you can really do is test. In the end, it is really going to come down to your skills/experience or determination to build them. As there is a reason why some kill it and others don't and it's not luck.

There's really no one size fits all for this answer, it just really depends on what your looking to do. With a place like Facebook you have more targeting options and with different targeting options you can satisfy your different advertising goals.

Now, there are other platforms out there that are not like Facebook, in which targeting specifics are not available but in general solo ads are ads to subscribers that have been abused. We can also say that PPC advertising is also filled with prospects that are abused but the reality is both sides of the coin works perfectly fine. The only way to ever really know is for you to test the source.

Some solo ad providers are absolutely amazing and keep adding fresh targeted people to their niches, and in the world of PPC there are some sources that are wonderful also but it's impossible to know which ones unless we spent some money on both and test it with our offer.

People look at another persons success with a source and believe it will be their own.

Overall, I think PPC is typically better quality traffic than solo ads.

Your email opens and click through rates will always be A LOT lower with solo ads considering that these subscribers are on a ton of lists. It's also a different beast and you must know what type of offers/price points to use with them in order to make quick return on investments or else it's like throwing your money down the drain.

PPC will always yield you better quality subscribers. Both methods work, you just have to know how to make them work for you.

In my opinion its best what you are the best at it .If you are a master in solo ads and you get the targeted ads of course you can rock .But other way if you are a master in ppc you will make a lot of money

Think of it:
DO NOT RELY ON ONLY ONE TRAFFIC SOURCE.

It's not good. Spend your money on different channels and segment your list so u can find a good seller of solo ads, and test and retest ppc.

There are also ppv, etc.

Try to make different thing and think out of the box.

You have to build a list, not put all your eggs in a basket

I've done solo ads and did not have a good experience.

Built a list of almost 1K using solo ads. Even though I researches sellers and only used ones with good testimonials and good ratings, it still didn't matter. Don't believe all the testimonials you read.

You never know that actual problem though, It could have been my offer, it could have been the sellers. Hard to know, Be prepared to test different sellers and test different offers and you might be spending some money testing before you hit that sweet spot.

My list built this way has about a 2.5% to 3% open rate, give or take. My other lists have about a 15% open rate and my buyers list frequently gets over 30% open rates.

That's the difference.

From hwat I have seen and experienced Solo Ads are one of the more underrated forms of traffic if you know what you are doing

i do both,

ppc - pros, great keyword retention and results.

cons - you can lose money fast if you do not test.


solo - pros very good to get fast clicks and build list faster.

cons - you could get crap leads that are spammed too and end up having 2000 leads that are low quality and never buy anything.


These are just my personal experience is all.

I think it is very important to research a lot more than even what you will get in this great forum before spending money. There are scam artists and real traffic sellers in the solo ad industry so it can be difficult to find the right seller. I have heard you can go to udemi and clixi to see people and prices and ratings...
If you go the PPC route make sure you start off with a small budget (5 or 10 a day) and only put in more money if you are making money or at the very least getting people to sign up to your list.
