Paypal account name doesn't match website name - does that scare off buyers???

My paypal account business name is a general name. It doesn't match any of my sites. So on the one site I'm trying to promote, they click the buy now button and they immediately see the name of a different business showing there. And the purchase amount matches but it doesn't show what it's for. So they have to click that "more" link to see that it's "the item description".

I'm really worried this is scaring off buyers. I only have 1 paypal account to encompass all my sites. I can't go getting multiple paypal accounts. That's just a lot of extra work. Isn't there anyway to show the customer that they're still "buying from the correct site" when they arrive on the paypal order screen?

I'm just linking my site direct to paypal using their buy now button tool. I don't know how to do it with anything else. What can I do to try and improve the process? any suggestions??? Thanks.

If you have a generic PayPal business account name, for example, "Petrov Publishing", just mention on the checkout page of each website that buyers will be paying Petrov Publishing. It won't scare anyone away.

Yes, Mention your company name at the checkout page so that user can understand it. Companies like inetinteractive who are operating websites like webhostingtalk, hotscripts, etc take payments under the name of their payment company.

It can, but like vishwa stated, make sure you let them know within the checkout page.
