Ever think to just ASK to see the product? Works for me!

Last week I came across a clickbank product that is on the new list, fits into one of my blogs, and is a topic I'm very familiar with. The product was going to be $100 for me to take a look inside. It didn't appear to have any information that I have not already learned or encountered somewhere.

It is a new product, so there is no guarantee it will be successful and the product creator is virtually unheard of, but after researching him he appears to have worked on/with some very impressive and reputable sites.

In any event, I decided to email him to ask if I could get a sneak peek into his members area. Within an hour I had a free membership with access to see everything he had in store for new users!

As a result, I can write a true and honest review, and if for some reason the product does not take off I won't feel like I just threw more money into something I personally don't need as I have passed (in my current IM education) what it teaches people to do.

Anyway, lesson here is if you don't ask you will never know. I can now put together a campaign to dominate the name of the product in reviews giving me an upper hand which in turn can reduce adspend in the future should the product take off.

Don't be afraid to request more information on something you are curious to sell. Really knowing a product and what it has to offer will not only boost your confidence in promoting it but will give you the opportunity to look for flaws that you may be able to fix, allowing you to create a bonus for your buyers that fills the gap.

The product I looked at is very clean and professional, but I do see a couple of things I can offer to enhance it and really round it out.

A quick email saved me $100 and got him a new affiliate.

Yep, do this all the time. As long as your are respectful, and can present yourself in a professional manner, the product owner will by happy to let you see the product. They would be crazy not to! After all, you will be making sales for them.

Yeah, I've done this before as well. A couple times it's turned into a more complex JV as well when the product owner was so happy to have a good new affiliate they offered to do things for me, like give away one of my reports to all buyers.
