Frank Kern Annihilation Method Question!

Hey guys,

So a friend of mine sent me some swipe files for the Annihilation method which is a just a sequence of launch emails.

I get the structure of all of the email except for one part in the 3rd email he sent out where he directs people to his page where he gets them to download a PDF he put together.

I'm wondering why he would do this? Is it to get an opt-in? Why would he want his own list to opt in again?

I don't understand this part... why do these guys direct their own lists to an opt-in page during a launch sequence?

Any clarity on this will help a great deal!

    two things:

    1) not everyone going to that page is going to be on his list. think JV's, people spreading the link around, etc..

    2) it builds a launch list. You can be a bit more aggressive with the emails sent to a launch list vs your normal list.

So do I continue to email both lists with the sequence or ONLY the new opt-in list?

At least add the opt-in once... or you can add it for each sequence until the launch day. You should be testing this out because you may get slightly different results in each target market. Good luck and let us know how it went!

Keep in mind that you really have three lists:

      - Members of list A only, who have seen your sequence so far
      - Members of list B only, who have not seen your sequence
      - Members of both lists, who are responsive

When you mail list A, you're mailing to both the first and last lists. When you mail list B, you're actually mailing to the last two lists. Each of those last two should also get their own sequence catering directly to them: members of B-only should get some of the list A sequence they missed, and members of C should get some special offers with price tags attached... to identify responsive buyers.

This can get really complicated. Perry Marshall teaches a whole seminar on how to construct your "list web." I haven't taken it, but I reverse-engineer a LOT of email campaigns... sometimes from multiple subscribed addresses. If you really want to know what's going down, you need to have several subscriptions to a list and watch the differences in the emails you get.
