Writing a good fb post

Hello, I made my lead page to sign up for my training program.

My issue is I don't know what to write in in the facebook post itself to make people want to sign up in the contact form.

My training program is a rev share site. I basically just made 6 steps to walk people through getting started and that it earns.

But people do not even know it is a rev share still no one signs up. I posted in many groups and got 2 replies in my contact form.

How do I learn to write a post people will sign up at least on the contact form? I thought I should build an email list which is why I made the contact form / lead page.

Any resources to teach me that are not expensive or free? All the lead capturing softwares in the world are not going to help if no one even signs up.

...and no one is going to sign up if they have no way of finding your FB page in the first place.

Are you even getting traffic to the page? If not, the best lead capture in the world won't work.

First off, People arent going to just happen to land on your fan page and give you their information. You must first nurture and provide valuable information that they are looking for. If people dont know what it is, they arent going to sign up for it. What value are they receiving for signing up?
Do they know what the value is? Are your fans even looking for this information? Lot's of unanswered questions here.

  • Hi!

A good Facebook post follows a few key rules:
    - It is relatively short. While 1000 words post can work, it should be damn interesting.
    - It is congruent with the medium. Remember, Facebook is a social network, not a blogging environment.
    - It uses a strong image that can capture attention. Your image acts like the de facto headline in a Facebook post. The image doesn't need to be 100% congruent but it must be interesting.
    - It contains strong calls to action. You have context based call to action (order now, inquire, etc) and you have Facebook specific CTAs (if you've enjoyed reading this, please like / if you consider this helpful for other people, please help them by sharing) and so on.
    - It follows the AIDA principle. You get attention with your headline. You give a strong reason why directly why he should read this and / or who is it for. You give all the benefits why he should do something / education / the actual value from your post. You end up with a CTA or several (contextual and FB specific).

In a way, writing Facebook ads is highly similar to writing short copy. Even if you're not selling a product, you are selling an idea. As a general rule, it is not hard. Success or failure has more to do with consistently delivering valuable posts to your audience than anything else.

I hope this helps. I've finished not long ago writing a book on the idea of Facebook marketing so the topic is still very fresh in my mind.

      Thank you. This was helpful.

Other posts were pretty rude. I was not asking anyone to run my business.

      • It is the cost of asking for advice on a public forum, without paying for it. Since consulting actually costs, when you are asking for it here, for free, you should expect to take the good with the bad.

In any case, this is not the relevant part, I hope what I've wrote can help you.

Good luck and let me or us know how it turned out.
