Only write a couple at first to test your pre-sell landing page (10-20 articles)... If you're not seeing any positive results (more opt-ins, sales, etc.) then you need to change your approach... Either your landing page or your articles.

If you're getting a lot of people to your landing page but no click throughs to the affiliate product or a lot of visitors to your opt-in page but no opt-ins then you need to work on that... If you're just not getting any visitors then you need to change your strategy with your articles...

Try something new, be more emotional, research what other writers in your niche talk about and how they say it, what niche slang they use and so on...

Do some keyword research.... then write an article per keyword phrase.

Make sure title of article matches the keyword phrase. Each article needs to be targeted otherwise you end up with a bunch of general articles without focus.

It may turn out one article will pull in a lot more traffic than the others... but which one? you just have to write as many you see fit according to your niche.

Using the Google keyword tool first... it's free! (just find it via Google search) If you start pulling in cash you may want to consider some paid for tools. There's a whole bunch of them latest ones are Market Samurai and Keyword elite 2.0- they come with a ton of tutorials.

There is no set number, your results depend upon "YOU" ....

The more high quality and keyword targeted, the better ...

You can write any number you want IF...

    1. You know that the product will stay forever (Atleast for the lifetime of your articles stay) and won't be pulled back from the market all of a sudden without notice.

    2. You are sure that they do pay and on time.

Unless you are not sure about the above two. Would be better for you to just go promote your own products. Advantage - There is no limit to the number of articles you can write to promote your product & You are sure that the money can only fall in your basket. And about the number, for your products... Always... more the better...

    Hope this helps...

Well, I used to write about 10-15 articles about the product which I am going to promote. Then, create a blog post in my blog, post summary of each articles there with affiliate link. Once that is done, submit those 10-15 articles to 20 PR3+ dofollow article directories, I used to get a backlink to my blog as well as give link for the product which I sell too. So, I am getting sales

Not sure what a "Mini Article Directory" is but fact is you are best to be anyplace you can be.. You never know those "Mini Article Directories" may help increase your rankings even if you do not get direct traffic.

What's important is the quality of the articles, if you can write more than one article for one product, much better.

I usually create 5 surrounded by 5 relevant keywords as an initial test-run and see which keyword is most responsive ! Though you must make sure you have unique content; this will help dramatically !

I would suggest writing at least 5 articles to promote your product. The most important thing you can do is proper keyword research. Make sure you are able to rank on Google with your keyword phrase. Your first article should be built around your major keyword phrase and the others should be related articles that include your major keyword and point back to your original article.

It depends. Watch your rankings for your keywords. Continue to write new article to boost your rankings, and to bring new keywords into the mix. Other than that, I move on to something else.

    Thanks for everyone input.

So, in the order to have a decent success in the Article Marketing field, must I submit all my articles to Ezine alone? What if I don't want to use Ezine as my main article directory? Or Ezine is the only way for Article Marketer to success?

      NO!!! 100% Incorrect!!!

You should be submitting your article to hundreds of article directories... Please do not listen to those that claim EZA is king because they are not..

If you do not want to use them then don't.. I sure do not submit my content to the adsense farm directory..

Write a few High Quality articles and see if you get good results from them. If yes, then write some more. If no, then change something around until you find something that works.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Meaning, don't just use Ezine articles. There are a TON of good article directories out there.....Such as Goarticles and articlebase

Write a lot of articles. It depends on your niche, but let me ask you a question...

If you write 10 articles and make a sale, will you stop there?

Write as much as you can (only when you start though), and then, once you know your numbers and conversion, outsource... and finally, develop a backend to start making money.

But then, should I submit all the same articles to all the article directories or one unique article for one directory?

I say, make enough articles to get 100 hops a day. If that is 1 or 100 is up to your keywords, your article, your competition and how much you promote them.

When you have reached 100 hops a day, see how many sales you make in a week. If 7 or more sales, write a new set of articles tarketing a new set of keywords to get 200 hops a day. (or you can promote the articles you got even more)

14 sales a week? Get 300 hops. and continue untill you feel that you have done all you can do in that niche.

At 25 bucks a sale, you only need 6 sales a day to make a very nice full time income (54.750).

      Hey,

It doesnt matter how many articles to write , as you may have high traffic from only one article if it`s content is Desirable by your audience, and if you publish them in high traffic sites.

I found this way which you might be interested in for faster results with your article marketing:-
      1. Pick your keyword phrase

      2. Write an article series of articles all featuring that keyword phrase in the title and the body of the article.

      3. Monitor how you are doing in the organic search engine results for your keyword phrase.

      4. Once you have penetrated the Top 10 search engine results for that keyword phrase it's time to do everything again for another keyword phrase.

      Regards...
