EzineArticle changing Url's?

Has anyone else been annoyed with ezinearticles for some reason deciding to change the url's you have in anchor text?

It's happened me on a few occasions and it's pretty disheartening to submit an article and find when it's been published the URL has been change.

What's your thoughts on this?

That sounds very weird. I have never had it happen to me. They will usually notify me that I have to change a URL, but never change it for me.

So what do they change it to?

I have never had an url change on me before.

Did they give you a reason for the change?

No reason just changed URL from what I submitted it as. It's strange but I suppose no point crying over spilt milk now that I think of it. I just hope it doesn't keep happening.

Were you doing a redirect? You can only redirect from top level domains.

Maybe it was a new employee. I've had an article rejected because an employee thought my link was an affiliate link even though it was my own web site redirected to an affiliate page. I guess he thought if it landed on sales page that is was against the author's TOS.

I had a redirect once, but it was a bad link. If I call correctly, the pulled the article until I corrected it.

Not quite the same thing but I just had on turned down because they said the link was dead - but both followed through for me. VERY frustrating considering I had done it from a new account (was planning on flipping the site and the article account) so I had to wait over two weeks for them to get around to reviewing it.

I have moved a lot of my business to GoArticles (for just backlinks) and Squidoo (for traffic, I have been getting much better ctr there), but for flipping EZA articles would (I imagine) have a far better percieved value.

Not at all impressed by them at the moment.

Just wondering why you don't contact them and ask them why they are changing this? You will not know, unless you ask, and it could even be an error on their interface...etc... and still, they will not know, unless you ask.

    Regards,
