Domains expiring- do I pass them on, let them expire or keep?

Hi all

I have a number of domains that are due to expire at the end of this month.

I just don't know what to do with them if I am to be honest. I 99% won't do anything with them but would feel bad just letting them expire. I never really did anything with them other than a pants Wordpress site on each.

If people have any suggestions or would like them let me know. Currently on godaddy so if people want me to transfer to them you will have to tell me how.

Below are the sites if anyone is interested:

Mobilebettingclub.com
Paybetpal.com
Pokerpan.com
Winnerchannel.com

Some of them get regular visits but rarely ever more than 10 a day.

Cheers.

I'd definitely keep mobilebettingclub it's a nice domain.

You might even get some money for it if you auction it off.

Do whatever you want with the others though.

I also have a domain name... that is about to expire. OK, so mine is RENTPROGRAMMER.com and I am not using it any. I would also like to pass mine on.

I also agree about keeping Mobilebettingclub.com

As for the others, if you don't plan on doing anything with them within the next couple/few years, it may be time to let them go.

You can build sites upon them yourself or get web designers to build for you though that may cost more.

You can also sell those domain names on GoDaddy or some other web hosting.

Because I have not sold my own domain names before, I am not in the position to comment further.

You might want to ask those who have.

However the way I see it, if you have profitable sites making you income consistently, it will be much easier for you to sell them.

But then you may not want if that happens.

So the decision is still up to you.

It's been 20 years since I registered my first domain and I have learned (the hard way) this simple lesson:

Don't spend money registering a domain unless you have specific plans in mind for it. And those plans should be implemented soon. If you spend money on a domain and have intentions to get to it later . . . well, we all know how that works out. You'll just end up loosing money on it.

Professional domainers know what they are going to do with every domain they purchase.

It's kind of like PLR - how much of that stuff do we have gathering dust on the hard drive just waiting for us to someday get around to doing something with it?

Have specific, fairly immediate plans for everything you buy as a marketer.

    I'd drop them, OP.

    2 and a half reasons:

    1. Metrics. I haven't checked them, but I'd be willing to bet (pun intended) that your domains have zero in the way of metrics. One metric being decent organic traffic. Another metric being keyword searches for the EMD (exact match domain). Another metric being past sales of very similar domains. Other metrics we could look at, but you get the picture.

    2. Branding. When your domain has zero metrics, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. Fact is, if someone wants your domain and they can buy it? They will buy it. One of the reasons they do so, outside of metrics, boils down to branding. Is it a brandable domain name? If so, you could have zero metrics and get a sale. But none of those domains have strong branded names. Moreover, in 19 seconds I found a similar domain. If I spent a bit longer, I'm sure I could find others. If your domain has no metrics and relies only on the catchy name, you need to ensure it isn't possible to register similar domains. If people can? It hurts your domain's value.

Half. Paypal. I doubt very much you'd get an issue with PayPal, but I know most domain buyers would have that niggling concern over one of your domains.

Throw them on NamePros.com. If you get no interest? Drop.
