So I was talking with someone about building traffic...

So I was talking with someone about building traffic. I guess they're suppose to be some kind of an expert. But for some reason they just wanted to try and give me some kind of a life coaching session. It's strange.

I thought it couldn't hurt to pose the same question in here, can anyone tell me some solid way to build free traffic? I just don't understand why it's so difficult. I just have to find some way to build steady traffic, as I think I'm finally onto something. Like if I could get even to 100 visitors per day that would a great start. Currently I'm at about 10 unique visitors per day. So it's very disheartening. Even if I could get to say 50 unique visitors per day it would be amazing.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please? What exactly should I be doing?

    • Come up with something killer and easily shareable, such as an infographic
    • Promote like crazy on social media

      great post, I highlighed the most important.

      These days its all about gimme gimme, you have to be patient with this stuff.

      Build your content around a good keyword and promote and in things will flourish if you are patience enough. Yes. I agree.

    Blogging and Youtube are by far the best ways to drive lots of free traffic.

    I remember when my blog was at 10 unique visitors a day...then it went up to 50...then to 100...then to 200...etc.

    I takes time. Keep blogging great content and building high quality backlinks. Do in depth keyword research and optimize each and every post for SEO. Follow bloggers like Neil Patel and Backlinko for advice on getting a large audience.

    Then there's Youtube. If you consistently post quality videos (you can use a screenshot software such as the Nimbus Chrome Extension or ScreenCastoMatic or Camtasia), you'll eventually get lots of views over time.

    Of course then there's social media and other methods. But I think blogging and Youtube are the best. It takes time, but traffic always takes either time or money.

    You put something very compelling in front of a targeted audience - something that strikes at their emotions and elicits or triggers their desire to learn more, or see more, or find an answer to a problem or question they have. It's an exercise in matching the message to the audience in a way that satisfies a need or want they have.

    The venue can be anything, but the more personal the viewer sees your message, the quicker he/she will respond.

    You can do it with free traffic or payed traffic
    For pay traffic you need a few dollars usd then
    go to fiverr.com sign up with a free account and you will find a lot of traffic starting at $5 usd
    Free traffic you can do this yourself ...all you need is some time on your side
    first go to google keyword tool planner and get some keywords idea of your "niche"
    then
    goto authority sites like fb and the forums and sign up with a free account.
    then
    interact your blog or website with all of these authority sites that you signed up with and
    you will get all the traffic you need
    this will take a few months so dont give up if you dont see traffic right away

    Help other bloggers and site owners drive traffic by:

    - promoting other bloggers
    - featuring other bloggers
    - interviewing other bloggers
    - commenting on other blogs
    - guest posting on other blogs

    Or, if you are a business site owner (not a blogger) simply replace "blogger" with "site owner".

    Solve your ideal customer's problems through social media. I'd start blogging too if you are not doing so. Buy your domain and hosting and start a WP blog. Build your authority. Build traffic.

    If you are having 10 unique visitors in your marketing, it means you are off to greatness.
    Additionally, my advice is that you do these few things to burst your business:
    • Write quality informative content visitors will be hungry for.
    • Do massive ad post to free classified ads sites (free back links).
    • Use social media for wide promotion.
    • Repeat the above regularly and watch your traffic increase greatly.
