Stuck at Niche Picking.

Well so i am planning on creating a youtube channel to drive traffic to my website and do email marketing and affiliate stuff. However I am stuck on what product or niche I should promote? I am mainly going to use Amazon products. Tools I have is a mic and I got videoscribe. But I am really stuck in what I should promote? I might not know a lot about certain products and such.

    I always suggest to new IMers to first decide upon an audience and what they are asking for prior to "picking a niche." Look for a common problem, want, or desire first ... then you can either create or become an affiliate for a product or service that overcomes the problem.

    Why do it this way? Simply because you need to verify and learn about the need that people have or the problem they want solved so you can make sure there is adequate commercial demand for whatever you plan to sell. In addition, you should be assessing the competition in the marketplace and learning where your audience can be contacted.

    Do some simple online research first and let that dictate what solution you are going to propose and where you are going to market.

    Depending on what you offer you can offer as many products as possible. The more selection there is, the more potential to earn a dollar there is.

    For example. Clothes store can sell dresses, shirts, pants, shoes, etc.

    i dont know anything about the niche or offer im in, im just figuring it out as i go along and responding to the data accordingly. When i hit a hot spot ill ramp it up, for now it's just testing, not much else you can do.

    Eventually you grow out of the fear mindset and into the fun mindset

    Hey Fantasy Cloud,

    I agree with Steve B find problems that need solving, the bigger the problem the more more profitable the market. Once you know exactly what pain people are having then you can find a solution for that problem.

    Then you will be able to find the niche you want to go into. For example if your into the health market and you work out regular, and the problem your having is losing belly fat, but your found a way to lose belly fat, through your youtube channel you can show that. You can also find products that you have used that helped you lose that belly fat.

    Thats an example hope it helps.
