how's it going people, i hope you're doing great.
i have done some researches about this industry but haven't got it straight.
the problem is when choosing a niche, lets say i want to promote products about skin care, something like acne products, how do i know if people are really looking for these products and how do i know if its going to profitable or not ?.
in case i invested a 100$ in promoting these product, will i be getting real people checking out my products ?
did it happen with any of you guys ?.

Do some keyword research by using the AdWords Keyword Planner: https://adwords.google.co.uk/KeywordPlanner

This will allow you to see the monthly search volume in your chosen territory for your niche. It's a good idea to choose keywords with good long tail potential. That way even if your main keyword doesn't have a super high search volume the overall volume is high because of all the long tail variants.

Do competitor research. Install Moz tool bar and perform Google searches for your chosen keywords. Moz will tell you the domain authority of each result. If you have a few under 20 in the top 10 or lots of blog sites, bingo. You have a good chance to rank in the top 10. Write content to target that keyword.

There's a lot more to it but that will give you an idea if your niche is viable.

Hey my friend, you must define you are an entrepreneur.

As an entrepreneur, you don't just look at money.... You must look at people problems. The more people ask about their problems, the more profit you can make.

Try some research about your niche at Google Keyword Planner!

  • If you are doing a niche research, always go to Google Trends to check if people are actually searching for the topic online. You will be given a 5-year popularity reading on the keyword you've entered to really give you an insight of the niche.

Then it will also help if you do a quick look at Buzzsumo as well if there are articles about your niche that are getting a lot of shares and likes.

Looking at similar sites for your niche is also helpful since from this alone you may get a lot of ideas on how well the site do for the niche, what are the marketing strategies used, etc.
