Where to market/sell ebooks?

Hey, I have not much practical internet marketing experience, so would need your opinion. So far I was selling ebooks on amazon. I am planning now to make a small ebook on how to loss weigth/ gain muscel/ boost testosterone easy.
I have heard that it is very difficult to be successfull in this niche, because there are many competitors. What do you think?

Where would you market/ sell your ebooks (on any topic, because if that topic should not work I will try anyway other topics also)? Thanks for your opinion.
#ebooks #market or #sell

I think signs of competition is a good thing. It's rare that you can enter a new, untapped market and make money. It's more common to enter a market that is already hot (and full of competition) and put your own spin on things to differentiate yourself.

Why not try marketing/selling your ebooks from your own website?

Where can you sell your eBooks? You're already in the best place. Amazon. It's arguable, but that's my experience.

As someone else mentioned, fierce competition is often the sign of a thriving market, but if you're new to marketing, and eBook-sales and marketing, then I'd recommend you consider untapped (or relatively untapped) niche markets that show signs of potential. You find them. You fill them.

It is not hard to be successful selling eBooks. That is a meme/mind virus/limiting belief shared among authors who ain't doing it right No competitors either. On a creative plane.

Keep selling on Amazon. Then feel free to put your new eBook on Amazon or even Selz if you want to diversify income streams.

Topic sounds super practical. Grow your email list. Give the eBook away for free for 2-5 days. Boost downloads and reviews. Increase future sales. Also, keep writing helpful, practical eBooks as solutions to problems and as promotional tools for your other eBooks.

How do you sell on Amazon quickly?

Is there a way to get an ebook on there and keyword optimized in a day or so?

I'm interested in it but it looked a bit complicated.

I agree with Ryan's comment. The only thing is that I would argue that there is definitely competition in the eBook world. Although I understand Ryan's point about the creative plane, most of us literally judge a book by it's cover. With so many e-book titles available, people are going to decide on their e-book purchases based on e-book covers, user ratings, the quality of the reading samples, and so many other factors. This is where the competition comes into play. You have to constantly find ways to set your content apart from the competition.

That being said, I am not sure that there is a way to "sell on Amazon quickly" without using blackhat tactics i.e. manipulation an algorithm to rank higher, or using automation etc. The only way to do what you are asking such as manipulating a service to rank your eBook higher on display is by (1) experience: if you publish enough content to a platform you will eventually (through prowess or dumb luck) find a way to manipulate ranking algorithms), (2) spending money: you can pay people to teach you, or hire them to use their own "tricks" to manipulate rankings in your favor, or (3) networking with people: if you make friends with the right people, you might actually get lucky and find someone who is willing to share their methods/profits with you.

None of those tactics are actually easy, and they may not even actually work to help you make "quick money" so I would suggest that you follow Ryan's advice, and understand that it is going to take a lot of work to make money in any niche in this industry. So to answer your initial question. It is actually difficult to be successful in any niche if you do not have much experience. You are going to have to learn, overcome almost guaranteed failure, and the continue to persevere. Success usually ends much quicker than it comes in this industry, so even if you do somehow become successful overnight, you should never lay all your eggs in one basket.

Have a look at Kinobody on YouTube, that's his main source of traffic / lead generation. He's been killing it in the fitness space lately selling ebooks, while building his brand on YouTube

Take advantage of the free social media sites to promote your ebook. You can also do a partnership with a local brand/product that has the same niche.

You can also try guest posting on blogs that focus your book's niche

    It's a win win situation

They get free 100% original content

You get to put your book link in front of the eyeballs of people who are already interested in your book's niche

It all boils down to OUTREACH
