How to advertise to MS word users

Anyone have any idea how to focus in on Microsoft word users who write frequently?

Not necessarily marketers but general purpose writers?

I've tried some word forums but they are mostly run by MS I'm looking for other ways to reach the crowds.

There are probably about a few hundred million word users but I can't seem to get them to see my offer.

    Hi jessegilbert,

Perhaps you are still too broad in your thinking of how to target an audience?

MS Word is nearly ubiquitous for business use. Generally speaking, it would be unwise to target every type of business, or every type of professional, with a single marketing message. Different types of professionals will use Word for different purposes and at various levels of engagement. You need to think of even more specific audience segments, don't try to target so broadly.

Pick a few very specific niches that are known to be very avid users of Word, then tailor your marketing message to that specific niche, addressing their specific needs and concerns. That will likely resonate with your audience far better than a generalized message.

How about legal secretaries, paralegals, or administrative assistants? I'm sure that most of them will be heavy users of MS Word. The point is to get granular in your targeting, test at least a few different micro niches, and then double down on any niche that excels in results.

    HTH,

    Don Burk

yeah I just don't know how to reach them but those are some good ideas maybe I can find some newsletters with those crowds.

I've tried focusing in on writers but yeah I know this would be useful for electronic filing because it is great for getting the most keyword tags in secods.
