1 Simpler and More Profitable Way to Make Money Online

Consider this analogy.....

A guy or gal walks into a grocery store. They see a bottle of ketchup. Awesome! They will sell bottle of ketchup to folks because hey, everybody needs ketchup for their burgers, right? Or for hot dogs? Or whatever.

So they walk around the store and ask individuals one to one if they need ketchup. Not an effective marketing approach exactly. So they make no sales. Then they are disgusted with the grocery crowd and try to sell the ketchup to folks in the neighborhood. Still no sales. So then they invest money to pay a guy to drive around with a loudspeaker and banner, hawking your ketchup for an hour. You make 3 sales. Net profit $2.45. But you invested $50. Big losses so far.

So since "ketchup is no longer hot aka not a seller anymore" you walk back inside the store, grab a jar of mustard, and follow the same process. More failure. Except this time you lose $100 because you paid the driver for 2 hours. You get more angry.

Repeat process with toilet paper. Everybody needs it, right? Repeat process. Down $400 now.

"What the hell is wrong with me!??!", you ask yourself.

I'd answer: nothing. You are fine. But your motive sucks.

This is how most internet marketers begin their journey. They *mainly* want to make money, grab any old product to sell, completely ignore due diligence, or targeting, or most forms of research, offer little value if any through their emails or blog (if they even have one) and attempt to manipulate systems to make money. Which leads to failure 99% of the time, and endless frustration.

The masses start at the end (selling a product and making money) and don't even bother working backwards. They skip all the steps you need to take to succeed. The planning. Searching for something you enjoy doing. Market research. Targeting.

A Successful Approach

What do you love doing? What is your passion? What feels fun to you?

List out 1 core passion.

Then see if you can tie that passion into rendering some valuable, helpful service that addresses a specific pressing problem. When you find a link - in most cases, you will - start leaking out free, helpful content that solves the problem through your email newsletter and self-hosted Wordpress blog.

Network with successful folks in your niche. Help them. Endorse them. Promote them. All while you solve problems, for free, to earn the trust of folks who will eventually buy from you.

THEN you can begin to shop around for affiliate products that you feel passionate about, that fulfill the specific needs of your audience and that you feel clear on.

This is a more simple, more profitable way to make money online.

It takes patience to take this route. But if you are going to do something, doesn't it make sense to take a bit longer to do it right and to actually make money than to rush through the process again and again and to NEVER get it right?

    Great post on passion-based outreach

Success really boils down to this: To get what YOU want, you must first help OTHERS get what THEY want.

Sure, passion is important. The thing is, you can have all the passion
in the world but without diligent, consistent action, passion is not going
to keep a person from failing. They'll just try again with a passion #2, #3,
#4, and so on until the light bulb comes on.

There's a reason why there's only about 1.2% earning millions in IM and
it's not due to saturation like a lot of people believe. They have learned
the art of focused, deliberate action on a consistent basis, and they don't
cave in and quit when they don't see results in their first 2 months. When
you add passion with diligence, no one will be able to stop you from reaching
    the top.

Passion also involve decades of butt-busting, smart, persistent work.

Passion that reach close to the turkey level usually involve drumsticks.

I like the analogy. Too bad those guy and gal didn't think to offer a cheap app to people around them for easy home shopping. Great profit for the driver, anyway!

Loved the post about the passion based approach to making money. But i would like to add a few things. Passion alone will not make you rich. You have to make sure that there are other people who have the same passion like you. Also they must be passionate enough to open up their wallet to pay for the product or service you are providing/promoting.

If u want to be more profitable in online marketing then you have to follow some ways.
First of all everything should take seriously because you're applying for an online job.
Secondly always you should be professional. Without this it's really hard to be success.
Besides that, you have to give some but not all Whether you're providing writing samples, a photography portfolio or links to your work, give them enough examples to get the idea.
Finally Double check yourself then you will be succeed.

I feel that serious and professional point you make underscores that this is a step by step, patient process we want to follow. Follow something you enjoy doing, aka, a passion. Then get down to matching the passion with some pressing prob. Market research. Then, developing your skills after you dive in to your venture.
