Best time to submit EzineArticles

I recently read Casey Gentles ebook on article marketing. He suggests that you submit an article every 2 hours to EZA in order to get more views. I was wondering if anyone actually does this or if it has worked for anyone? My experience is that, no matter when I submit an article to EZA, it gets approved randomly and not according to when I submit it. Just curious what everyone else thinks. Perhaps an expert article marketer can chime in.

That's my experience. It takes weeks now to get approval and they are approved at random times anyway.

I suppose if you did submit every two hours for weeks at a time that approvals would end up happening about every two hours after a few weeks.

I don't really see the point though.

The best time to submit your article is: do it right now.

A well treasured secret is that if you get your article approved on Friday it might stay on the front page for the whole weekend because they don't approve new articles during the weekend.

Now, the question is, how do you do that without the paid membership? It's hard to predict, just submit articles every day and some will get this extra swing.

This isn't exactly true. This past weekend I had an article approved on Saturday after I had writen it . . . and another one on Sunday. I know I'm not the only one who has experienced this before. I'm a Platinum member, so I'm not sure if that affects it or not, but I know that they do approve articles over the weekends.

I tried submitting articles at 2 hour intervals but then noticed that their approval times were rather random. I mourned the loss of my computer 2 days ago . . . which had 11 articles I had writen on it that I was waiting to continue submitting in 2 hour intervals. Due to my stubborness (I never backup any of my work) I lost all 11 articles when the computer went belly up and I have no plans on rewriting them. I think I'll follow what everyone else is saying and submit them as soon as they're writen to avoid this from happening again.

        You are correct.....

The statement you quoted from the above poster is no longer true... EZA have been approving content at the weekend for a long time..

I was still certainly under the impression that Ezine articles did not approve articles at the weekend so that is news to me.

Sorry to hear about your computer Ofthemix. Got to learn from our mistakes.

As for when the best time to submit is, and bearing in mind that I've not long started this again I can't get an image of a load of folk in an office bored of reading and checking articles that I just can't see there being a perfect time to submit.

It seems like pot luck to me and hopefully I'll get lucky at some point.

          Regards

          Andy

The best time to submit an article to EZA?

Right after you finish writing it or when you receive it from your writer(s)

I have a constant flow of content going into article directories, so approval time becomes meaningless for me...

    Peace

I have figured out a way to get them released right before the close of business Friday, this has helped get a lot of extra views but the best way to get articles released at the right time is to simply become a paid member ... in many ways it is worth it (if you know how to use it).

Last week, throughout the week, I submitter a total of 12 articles. All were approved over the weekend, but in totally random order, not in the order submitted.

I have had some long waiting periods myself lately.I agree with sending them ASAP.Since you spent the time on writing them anyway don't forget to SPIN it a couple of times and submit it to more sites<<<Feed the populus. You won't be sorry
And if you are using EZ as a free member It WILL ASSURE you slower approval. After all..That is what the upgrade is about. And yes I think that they need more staffing.

WOW, that will add up to a really large amount of articles.

In my experience the articles that I have submitted are not all approved at once.

Maybe try it for a day and see what happens, you might get an interesting result

I have had articles approved over the weekend as well, but only recently. I also have had them approved in random order, but never rarely and I mean rarely have I ever waited more than 48 hours for approval. Last week one went live in 2 hours. I don't know the reasons though. I am platinum, so I guess I am curious what are the benefits of being upgraded.

I recently turned Platinum. I had one of my articles approved within 7 hours of submitting it, another within a day, and then the rest of the group not approved until 5 days after they were submitted.(all of these articles were submitted on the same day) Random, indeed.
