Help with starting over

I don't know of any online or offline business that you can start with $0. Maybe someone else does.

But to me, it's incredible that people think making money online is easy and can be done with no investment or knowledge. It's like people think of the internet as an ATM.

To make money online you need a product/service. Someone to buy that product/service. And a platform to offer the product/service to that someone(s).

In my experience, that can't be done for free.

Making money starts from within. What skills/knowledge do you have? What value do you provide?

Yes, I can sense your frustration. The truth is, while it is possible to create a system that would earn you some income from the internet with $0 or almost $0, you would need a lot of know-how to do it successfully. Earning money from the internet is something you learn, and learning (unfortunately) takes time.
Yes, email marketing is one direction, but it is made up of several components. You can only do email marketing to a list you own, and you need to build that list first. There is a process to get to that point. The best advice I can give you would be to search for free reports on affiliate marketing for beginners. (This will ultimately include email marketing, as you would sell products, as an affiliate, to your email list once you've built one). While these reports may not give you a complete course, or use all free resources, they will be a good beginning by which you can educate yourself towards earning an internet income. Educating yourself is also the only way to eventually be able to spot the 'false' methods, and avoid them.

Register at Clickbank, pick a product with gravity 180+, make your FB account and start posting in niche relater Groups. It might take a while, but stick to it and you will see the results. When? Nobody knows. Stick with it and most importantly- READ, READ, READ! (and watch videos too)

You do realize that many of the people that will answer your questions here are the sames ones that sell the "false" information you are complaining about, right?

Internet Marketing is a one million pound beast. It is just like any other gig, you have to at least work it 4 to 8 hours a day.

If you have no skills at this game, I would suggest you do one of two things:

1. Get some skills and experience.
2. Forget it.

I can site many online entrepreneurs that have gone the distance to make it online or in marketing in general.

For instance: Neil Patel.

Neil was taking classes in his passion, which was learning everything he could about SEO. He was also taking public speaking classes, and gave a speech about how you could drastically improve your site by using SEO.

A businessman hired him to help him with his site and he made his first $5000. After that he busted his ass building incredible online companies. Some were failures, some were huge successes.

Jon Morrow is another great example.

Jon is a disabled young man that is restricted to a wheel chair. Jon wrote hundreds of posts and thousands of headlines before he hit it big by writing a killer post for Copyblogger. Now he is one of the internet's top blogging mavens.

Before the Internet was in everyone's home, you had guys like the incredible copywriter - Gary Halbert doing everything it took to learn all he could about his craft. Gary once spent the last dime he had to get a plane ticket to go to NYC to get his hands on a marketing book he desperately wanted to read.

The point is: You are going to have to put the time and effort in too make money online (or off for that matter), no matter what niche you get into.

My Pet Peeve on the WF

One thing that kills me on here are people that come on this forum asking for help with brief, vague, questions that give us no clue as to where they are at.

That just wreaks of laziness.

We can't help you if we don't know what kind of business you're in.
We can't help you if we don't know which niche you are are positioned in.
We can't help you if you put brief,vague questions on here.
We can't help you if you are so lazy you can't write more than a few words to tell us what your problem is.

What you need to do is:

Find out what your passion is. Find out what niche or business you want to be in first. That is the very first step you need to take. Without that, no one will be able to help you.

Next, get some skills. I've had several businesses to include an online embroidery company, and I had zero experience in any of that before I started. I had no experience in running a big embroidery machine, no experience in digitizing designs, no experience in e-commerce.

I bought books, networked with people online and off, went to conventions, got a giant book on HTML and taught myself how to build webpages, learned all I could about online marketing.

And you never stop learning. It is a continual process that never really ends.

To be blunt: This is not a game for the sick, lame and lazy. I'm sorry to be so curt, but if it helps you to wake up to reality,so be it.

Many of the people on here will bend over backwards to help you. There are loads of great entrepreneurs that come on the WF and out of sheer kindness will help you - if you are actually trying.

Otherwise, you are going to get short answers that reflect the kinds of questions you are asking.

(By the way, this wasn't just directed at you, there are loads of people that come on here everyday asking for help in this manner. It drives me crazy sometimes.)

How do you plan on monetizing the traffic?

Yes. There's a way, but will require you to have some stuff ready, like a smartphone with high resolution camera. You'll also have to be active with some social media. So it means you have to spend a lot of your time. And the last thing you'll ever need is your luck, beside some unlimited A/B testing until you make it.

The best thing you can do is stop looking for advice on warrior forum. It's 99% junk.

If you have 0$, you can't earn anything. Any marketing online also need money. You invest, you earn. You don't invest, you don't earn. No anything is free.

Thomas, the first thing to do is to solve that "0$" problem. Even if you don't have any real skills yet, you can still sign up with sites like Amazon Turk and do enough grunt work to raise a stake to begin with.

It is possible to make money online from $0. However, since you don't have any money you will have to invest your time (a lot of it) into building your business online. From my experience there are a couple ways to make some decent money without investment. If you're just looking to make an extra $30-$50 a week, you can look into filling out surveys. Ipoll.com and caschrate.com are cool sites to make a few dollars.

I would suggest writing articles for iwriter.com but it doesn't look like you're that great of a writer to be honest, so that might not go too well. However, if you're determined to make money this way, you could spend some time working on your writing skills so you can get paid to write articles.

Another suggestion for you would be to figure out what you're naturally good at and see if there is a way to monetize that. If you're not good at anything, then you will have to go and develop the skills that will increase your value. For example, if you improve your writing and learn copywriting, and then do a few copywriting gigs for free in exchange for testimonials, you could be on your way to building a six figure copywriting business.

If you believe something you can achieve it, but as they say, faith without works is dead. You need to educate yourself, and go and take massive action. You will make mistakes and things won't always go as planned, but if you don't give up you will find your way to success!

The reality is that most would make more money working a minimum wage job, than the time they spend trying to make money using strategies that require $0 capital.

The simple fact/truth is that those who are making money are spending money.

That's not to say that there won't be exceptions to the rule. But in general, your income will be dependent on how much you spend on your advertising...funnel, back-end etc...

For a guaranteed online income source, you need to create your own product or service and sell your self. Building a list is another effective method to generate an online income.

I would not be buying products that did not offer any of the guidelines that i stated.

Then come back here and ask specific questions.

You are going to need some money. If you don't have any skills you can offer as a service then you'll need to make it some other way. Sell some extra stuff or get a job for now.

It won't take a lot of money to start but it will take a lot of time. The less you have of one the more you need of the other.

This may sound harsh -- but being an entrepreneur requires the ability to research and act on your own. If you need someone to guide you every step of the way you may be better off as an employee.
