Best software to make cool-looking slideshows?

Hello,

I would like to ask what software to use to make nice slideshows ?

I'm currently trying Camtasia, it's decent I'd say, especially because it's ease of use, but the content seems pretty limited, and it's very pricey ! 200$ and have to pay even more to get the updates..

Also I did the trial and you can't even export a vid with the trial version, disapointing.

I'm very curious to hear recommendations

    Hi Itachi,

Have you tried screen cast o matic?

It's free to use for 15 min recording. It has a paid option as well, a cheap one.

Other free software that record your screen (not exactly the same as Camtasia or screencast o matic):

    OBS and Zoom

    Regards,
    Robin

The best software is actually free and that is Microsoft Windows Power-point on your computer if you have one. If you meant to convert to a video i would recommend Movavi PPT to video software. Animoto too is a good one.

There's no need to use a converter. PPT 2010, 2013 and 2016 all export as video.

Hey thanks for all the response!

Is powerpoint really free ?? don't you need the office 365 suite ?

What's cool with camtasia I liked how you can add an animated background, also transitions etc..

Don't know if we can with powerpoint that would be awesome

" Explaindio and Proshow " Will check these out..

Yes, you need Office Suit to get PowerPoint, unless you want to buy an older version on eBay. Office Suite 365 is free for the first 30 days then $6.95 a month, a great investment IMO if you're serious about making videos.

You can do a lot with PPT and www.PresenterMedia.com, which has a wide variety of stuff to use with PPT and other video making software.

have you tried wondershare filmora? It is more of a video editing software, but I use it to make great looking slideshows and export them to youtube or you can use any video format.

No haven't, will check it out, yeah technically I could just use images and a video editing software, I was digging the animated background option on Camtasia though, might go for that in the end..

But I haven't checked the other ones first, will do that today
