100 bucks is not too much but enough for you to start your internet marketing! Invest into some quality course about internet marketing, why I say this because you have to learn first before you take action!

Have you been involved with internet marketing before this? How do you plan to make money online? E-commerce? Affiliate marketing? CPA offers? Offering services? Instead of investing blindly, I would suggest you to actually do research first.

For 100 bucks you could buy yourself a few domain names and a shared hosting account for a few months. That's pretty much all that's needed to get you started with Internet Marketing.

Contrary to what some posts have suggested, I don't think it is necessary to buy guides There are youtube videos, or webpages online that may teach you about internet marketing (for free). I think it is better not to spend that money. Pick a facet of internet marketing (example: affiliate marketing, selling a service to businesses) that you want to learn and look for free content about it on Youtube. Also, try to see if the teacher really earns from what he teaches. Note that all proofs may not be real.

To get access to courses, you may even signup to Skillshare via their free trial. There are many courses there. In the past, if you signed up as "teacher" you could have had a long period without paying for the subscription. I don't know if it is still the case.

PS. A relatively simple method to make money is to create lasses for Skillshare. It may take a lot of work. But at least you may see $ in return the first month if you do it right.

Save your money for now. Explore this forum and other sites until you find one method that you want to learn more about.

Then come back here and ask specific questions.

    Options include:

Learning a skill that people are willing to pay for. You can run an ad here on the forum and then link to it in your signature. Offering services is a good way to make money without spending a lot to get started.

Start a blog on a topic that you know something about and sell affiliate products.

Set up a store in TeeSpring and think of some clever, topical sayings.

There are many options but we can't really help you without knowing what your skill set is and what you're willing to learn.

You won't get far with $100 in my opinion. I mean it depends on what your doing but in general, $100 is never going to be enough. To make money we need to spend money on paid traffic. If you are thinking of creating your own product then again $100 is not enough.

Learn graphic design, open your own design service on fiverr, use your $100 to buy great graphic stuffs from envato-element just for 1 month, download as much as you want, and use them to make money, and use the rest of your money to promote and buy some traffic to your gig. There's always a way if you really want to make it. If I can make it, I'm sure you can too.

Hard time to keep promoting business? Don't worry!

I never spent more than $100 to start an online business to be honest.

Once you know what to do, it is quite easy to get started and ou don't need to spend a lot of money.

The only business with which I had so spend more than $100 is Amazon FBA.

A list of the businesses I've been involved with:
    -Kindle publishing
    -Affiliate marketing
    -Amazon FBA
-Drop Shipping using Shopify and Aliexpress

These days I would recommend someone to start with Dropshipping using Shopify. This is the easiest way to get started right now.

Get a part time job. Make more than 100 bucks. Start off IM without the fear-ful, desperate, obsessive shoestringing vibe which kills so many careers.

You don't make money from the internet. You make money from skills you work at, for months, then years, on the internet, and you'll want to hone these skills through your self-hosted blog, squeeze pages, through social media and through your email list. Gonna need some scratch to make this work, along with a desire to render useful service.

Nice post - Some really good pointers here. I always say to people it's about selling your self and establishing something you are good at and then rinse and repeat.

You can buy a domain and set up a service business. What is a skill that you can do which you see lots of need for? Is it writing? Is it graphic design? What is a skill you can exchange for cash? Find that skill or develop it and make some money. Save that money and invest in bigger things.

A good book to read which might give you some good ideas is "The $100 Startup" by Chris Guillebeau. Inside that book, you'll find a wealth of ideas and the motivation you need to make them happen.

    Hope that helps.

Honestly a hundred bucks is nothing. You will burn through that in no time. Instead, find an area in IM that you feel 'resonates' with you.

This is using the intuitive part of your mind.

Most people who come to this wonderful industry will use logic and try to find the BEST most profitable niche that they have zero interest in other than monetary.

And that's why 97% are failing hand over fist.

If you really have a genuine interest for passionate reasons, then maybe this industry may be a fit for you.

You will need to find more capital if you really want to make a worth your while income online.

Some will tell you to save money and learn for free.

Some will tell you that passion is not enough.

Some will even tell you that you don't need to spend any money at all.

I have spent thousands online for training / education and now come here to answer questions instead of consuming endless threads.

A good education in any industry (even IM) will always cost you money.

You will always get what you pay for.

Sure you will also lose some money but this is the price for Enterprise.

    WITHOUT Passion, why even bother?

Success in IM takes a lot out of you. So if someone wasn't passionate, why even start?

And in regards to making money without spending any...

There's a line up of people an eternity long of folks who you will have to compete with.

The lower down the food chain you go in any industry (even this one), with lots of people who don't want to pay higher prices for training, mentoring and tools...

The more competition there is and the smaller your income will be.

The main problem with this method is it will take A LOT OF TIME AND ENERGY to make this work.

To get traffic from a blog, you need to rank well for your articles and this takes TIME.

Would not recommend this method to a newbie because 99% of them will quit before they make their first $1. It takes too long.

  • Figure out the method you want to make money.

The most important step is the first step.

Determine what you want to get involved with and use that $100 for education in that area/niche.

Buy some FB, Bing, or Google ads. Or buy some solo ads. Send the traffic to a squeeze page. Build your list.

If i really had no choice but to spend $100, I would invest in building a list. I believe this can be done for under $100 and the rewards can be tremendous.
