How to attract affiliate marketers to your 7 figure plus a year company

I am working for a supplement company that makes 7 plus figures a year, and we are going to open up affiliate marketing. (this is our website, if it helps you better understand our product) www.DanceWithKaty.com How do you suggest are the best ways to attract affiliate marketers?

    You haven't given a reason for me to second-guess your decision, but...
    that's never stopped me before.

    How did you arrive at the decision that you wanted an affiliate program?
    Do you already have an affiliate program set up?

    I think it's intuitively obvious that your intent is to increase unit sales. Have you considered letting Amazon.com promote your product and fulfill all orders?

    Before doing anything drastic, I would seriously consider looking into "Fulfilled by Amazon" as a way to list, sell, and fulfill almost any physical product you might want to sell.

    They have the "reach", customer confidence, and their own network of affiliates already in place.

      We have an affiliate platform set up. Because of our product there are certain restrictions to what we can fulfill on amazon. Anything you suggest?

      I totally agree with Sid, why not try first that is already available. Amazon.com have everything , just start with and later you can expand by self affiliation as well. Moreover, by the time you will have proof that yes, my product is converting best way to convince big affiliate..

    Sid raises a good point about FBA and exploring other marketing avenues. I'm going to assume that a million dollar company is either on Amazon and/or has an established distribution network set up.

    When my supplement company began recruiting affiliates, we realized it was more trouble than it was worth fairly quickly. We had to pay affiliates 35% commissions, which is a lot for an ecommerce brand that has to manage stock and shipping expenses. Granted, we were in shareasale and it's definitely not a platform I'd recommend (mainly coupon sites).

    Assuming your company is a branded supplement, I would look into influencer marketing if you haven't already. Very similar to affiliate marketing but more effective.

    Start by a good payout, what are you planning on paying the affiliates and what does it cost and get the consumer?

    As mentioned above selling on Amazon my be a great channel for you. Yes there are some Amazon hoops you will need to jump thru but it can be well worth it. Having your inventory available to Amazon shoppers make so much sense.


    A huge percentage of online shoppers go directly to Amazon to look for the item they want. The vast majority of them stay there and end up making a purchase. Your products should be there IMO
