Can I start my freelance career in Internet Marketing without needing to build a website?

after you setup you can change your blog link to a business link (.com)
Your blog is the same as your website
link everything to your blog then make all your creation from your blog

The OP didn't ask for "free site" - he asked for "no effort". He didn't ask for 'tricks' but said he didn't want to learn or write, etc.

Saying it's possible does not make it so.

It's time to be honest in answering questions like this - if you put in NO effort...you will not succeed.

Things will be easier if you have a website. More control, more trust worthy etc

Having your own website gives you more authority, creditability and control

I can't believe that anyone serious about starting an online business would ask a question like that.

Pardon if I sound blunt, but Internet Marketing is just like any other business or skill; it takes time and effort to be successful in it.

And yes, you will need some sort of website or blog to get started.

There is also a function called, "marketing" that you will have to do.

But before you do any of that stuff, you need to educate yourself. You will need to start a reference library of marketing books, website or blog building books and other materials to help you on your way.

I guess the reason why I'm reacting so snarky is because if you have been snooping around on the Internet for more than 5 minutes you would already know there's tons and tons of free material to get you started.

The great copywriter, TJ Roehleder has posted tons of free eBooks on the subject.

So until you have actually checked some of this stuff out, it is rather pointless trying to help you.

Sorry, but at this point it's the best anyone on here will be able to do for you until you actually act interested in starting a business.

Your title says Freelance but you are asking about affiliate marketing. I guess you mean freelance like Entrepreneur maybe.

You do not need a website for affiliate marketing if that is your question but you would be doing your self a disservice without one. It only increases your business if you set it up properly. And if you do not listbuild its cool. You just regret it year after year later. Trust me I know this.

It is possible but normally not a good idea. Why limit your chances of success from the start? Spend the time and do it properly (website)

I don't know if affiliate marketing would work or not but you can make big money without having a site at all with a YouTube channel. But you need your own products or you're at the mercy of Google if put aff links in description. You can be banned. Its called 'vlogging.' However, creating high-quality videos consistently requires more efforts than maintaining your own simple WP site. So, in either cases, you need to put work. The most simplest setup would be a lead capture page, fb ads and autoresponders.

Well, It is ok to start but some where midway you definitely need to have one. so why not get one to begin with!!!

I have a friend who has multiple websites and blogs.

But he also does paid ads directly to affiliate offers and it does convert well for him.

However...he has learned the skill of marketing through paid ads to the point where he is paying pennies per click.

Can a new marketer come in with zero experience and skill sets and get these kinds of results?

Come on new marketers, just because we are using the Internet as a marketing vehicle does not mean that success here is more easier than in any other industry.

But there is a big difference if you succeed in this industry...you can earn your freedom.

It is so much easier - or less of a struggle - when potential clients see you are serious enough to invest your time, money, energy and skills into actually owning a website.

Yes you can as a affiliate marketer bingads lets you direct-link affiliate offers but you need to know what you are doing or else you will loose money.

You can do but for professional marketing, you must have a website and monetization. Without being a website you can't make desired money.

marketing without writing content. Not everybody is a content
writer.

That being said, you should probably learn, practice, and learn
some more everything you can about PPC. Also, you might want to
look into creating a splash page so you're not sending your visitor
directly to an affiliate link.

I did affiliate marketing without a website. I used Youtube with simple and ugly videos. And still got some money for the last 4 years. I have to considered my self as being lucky enough.
