What if you had 1500 daily unique visitors to your websites BUT this visitors came from a country where PayPal and all the other payment processors are not allowed to operate?
(PayPal t is the only one allowed to operate in this county but with a huge restriction: users from this country can only spend or get paid 300$ per year through their paypal account so paypal, for this reason, is not even popular.

How would you monetize this traffic since there is no way for users to pay for services or products in $ or Euros or pounds (basically all major currencies)?

Maybe Adsense? (probably really low cost per click), PPL? (but i think that most PPL platforms won't accept traffic from this county... need to investigate a little more)

What do you think? Is it a "dead" site with no future?

Thanks

      Exactly. Ditto Chris' comment below.

I do have many Pakistani readers but tons of readers from around the globe. Seems like new payment methods are popping up there too and all my readers from Pakistan can buy any of my eBooks through Amazon.

Who is going to want the traffic?

If they can't spend money, then why would an advertiser want to pay for clicks, leads, etc... from them.

Exactly. I am trying to come up with something but it seems to be there's nothing to do for this site. What a shame

There's no way to monetize such traffic. Your'e absolutely right, it is a dead site. You should devote time to getting quality traffic if you ever want to monetize.

Huge traffic that you cannot monetize is like you said a "dead" site. The only way is to focus on getting quality traffic.

The only way i think you could make your site work to be profitable is to perhaps turn the site into some sort of recruitment site, either online or offline. Something along the lines of upwork, this all depends on your current domain name and the content you have already, if it doesn't fit so well, maybe you could start adding content talking about this subject and adding value that could lead them over to a fresh recruitment site, so your current one would be more blogged based that sends all traffic to new site, that's the only way i can think of to make use of the traffic you have at the moment, hope that helps....good luck.

    Simple answer:

I would not buy traffic that is targeting this or those countries.
