What will be the best bet to create my own email list?

Create a squeeze page where, in return for your customer email, you would provide them with a free trial of an anti-virus software or something of the sort. Or perhaps you have a software or App that you can give away for free, just give it to them in return for email.

To make the pitch even better, you can have a video above the opt-in form showcasing the effectiveness of the product and entice them to opt-in and get the software.

Your best bet?

Sell a low friction product to build a buyer's list

Low friction? Charge a low low price for the product like 50 cents or $1

The key is to separate the wheat from the chaff

If you have a PURE list of people willing to PAY for information, your chances of selling to your list blows up

Hmm, that is not always the case, but sometimes true. I used to charge $5 or $10 for a session when I first started out. Then when I became full-on and charged $250, none of the people that paid $5 and $10 came back (except for 1).

Cheap people are cheap, the best concept, which is widely used because it is the best, give them something for free for the fact that it is for free and then charge whatever you want later on.

There is no best bet.

You will have to do some testing to see what works best for you.

But before leadlists can be created, you will need to create targeted traffic by either Paid or Free marketing.

Newbs may try to answer your question but it's really too vague at the moment.

It would be better to use the search feature above and start searching for traffic and email related posts.

Thanks everyone. But the main problem is, I am not selling something like ebook or all which I can give it for free. We are selling antivirus source code and with re branding and that is over 1 thousand dollars. And also if we provide free antivirus to test that means it will downloaded by end users. But our targeted people will be software companies or developers. who also can purchase the codes as no end user can understand the necessity to have source code nor they can do something with source codes. That is the main area, where I cannot decide how to find our right targeted persons.

If you have a higher value product that has a very defined b2b target audience then maybe you should be chasing them rather then trying to get them to come to you.

If your product is what they want you can promote it directly. For a developer or a company $1000 is not a huge number (as opposed to to an end user). If you need to 'soften them up' then you will need to create a giveaway service or product of some kind.

Presumably your target audience will expect to make a significant profit on the 'AV source' buy selling multiple end-user products. Therefore something that they can do that with on a smaller scale for free makes sense.

Even if you have to write something specifically to give away. If it brings in customers/sales then that is what you need to do. It's market value is irrelevant, especially if you are not selling it.

One thought. Can you time limit/trial your product so that they can review and decide it's worth without buying but can't use/distribute it until they pay.

Or supply the AV executable to see how it works and then have to purchase source code.

What do other sourcecode sellers do? There area lot of Javascipt frameworks that seem to have a freemium model. I'm sure there must be others. See what they are doing.

I like your idea. But problem is at the very beginning. I can create trial version etc and can give "them" from test. But where I get "Them" ?? That is the big problem for me. I cannot short out this idea. How I can get those company or people who may be like to check it and if it looks ok to them they also can pay $1000.

I don't have short reports on your topic, but you should be able to locate some private label rights that you can modify a little, adding links back to you and your products for example. The advantage of using PLR is that someone else has already done the research and much of the heavy lifting for you.

I really agree with Willie (about creating short reports),

I have done this several times and it works everytime

You could also create a rebrandable pdf where you let others rebrand some of the links inside the document. This creates an incentive to promote it.

Back to the pdf part..., there are places where you can buy already done for you articles with rights (in this case "private label rights"). You can put you name on it, edit them and do whatever you like with them.

This is fairly easy to do. You can use open office which is free and turn those documents into pdf's.

Have a nice ecover made (on fiverr or here on the forum) or using any of the available ecover creators out there, I believe pixel studio from Jimmy Kim fx offer a free trial on this and there you go, you have a report + ecover, which you can use to build your email list.

Just some thoughts to get you startes.

If your software is really good and you are confident about, offer people 7 or 30 day Trial for $1 or free then charge amount.

Second step, target your core user directly using fb ads and different ads sources...

Well, everything is fine, but the main problem is, how I promote. Look, I know every promotion options like ppc, fb, seo, smo etc. What I am asking is, what will be the best way to reach target audience. If it is email marketing then how I can collect those emails?? If I create squeeze page, that also need to show to visitors. But I dont need useless visitors. I need targeted visitors. So what is the best way??

Depends on your target. What do they currently do to find a similar product? Where are they? Who is currently marketing to them, easiest and fastest way is to do a JV with a list owner. You reach your target market overnight.

To generate your own list, test Facebook ads which will be very targeted to those people.

I suggest #1- Joint venture with existing marketer in that niche.

Yes I think it is perfect, but if you check my posts about the product I need to sell, you will find that in this niche it is very much problem to find on JV. As I think what I am going to sell is the virgin market. And no one I think already in it. As I am going to sell rebranding and source code for antivirus and security software.

Dear brother, all of them do only rebranding. But Source Code?? Just ask them if then can provide you the complete source code. Or if they will develop a customized antivirus or security tools for your own need.

Everything is possible to give free for me like you all mentioned in this tgread. But my main problen is how to collect the targeted audience and who will be the audience. As we are selling not only antivirus but antivirus with its source codes also. That means the software company or software developer need it. But how to target and they are not easily catchable through sign up opt in page etc as they are not like end users. They will think twice before opt in

Get an autoresponder that host your squeeze page and thank you page. Make your bribe and article or something easy.

You dont need a host
You can get everything you need from Getresponse on a free basis. And then learn how to build a list. Please of free training around for that.
