I prefer to do videos of me talking to the camera or one showing my screen with me in a small window in the corner.

One thing that I have done several times is just to create an easy video tour of the product. I have even done it from my cellphone or my tablet using free software like mobizen, I do find that when I use camtasia the quality is better.

Anyhow, using this same forum as example, I create a video tour and include the video on the same post on the classified ad section and it usually gets me high quality visitors that signs up for whatever I'm offering at the moment.

I think if you are not getting traffic or conversions with your videos then you have to look at your storytelling techniques rather than your creation techniques. How your video is made is not as important as how your message is told.

I also think trend research is important to see if there is interest in what topics you have to offer.
