Getting Started On Clickbank? (Constructive Criticism Wanted)
I hope this is the right place to post this. Anyways, i've had my site (for personal training, virtual coaching, and my workout programs) for nearly a year and most of my clients have found me organically via google.
I'm not getting a lot of traffic/sales on my site in general despite:
having a facebook
having an instagram
having a blog
posting this blog to pinterest
having a youtube channel
having an email subscription list of about 50 (which open about 60% of my mails)
etc.
I used to average about 40-50 views per day on my site and the same on my blog, but now I average about 9-10 views on my site per day and about 10 per day on my blog (or more depending on pinterest traffic).
Essentially, I went in and changed some of my Keywords on my adwords account and updated my website to be more SEO friendly (keywords, and worked through a whole checklist with a local SEO company) and i'm getting a lot of traffic from my targeting customers now instead of a bunch of traffic that was totally unrelated to my niche (like interested in fitness, but that lives on the other side of the world or wants to learn something else, etc.) I am the first result for "Personal Trainer Copenhagen" on Google, I show up on google maps, facebook, youtube, etc.
My Niche target includes: beginners, women with a history of eating disorders or yo-yo dieting, and individuals looking to make long-term healthy lifestyle changes NOT quick fat loss, etc.
Anyways, i'm finding my two workout programs simply aren't getting the traffic that I need on my main site so i've decided to join clickbank and look for quality affiliates who might be able to better promote my product as I continue to increase my sales, reach, and traffic (which i'd also love feedback on how to achieve since whatever i'm doing is obviously not working).
First and foremost, can someone give me advice on how to actually find affiliates who use clickbank or have large outreach so I can pitch them on my product? I was under the impression at first i'd be able to see affiliates who are making money on clickbank (kind of like the marketplace) and be able to pitch them from there... but I don't think that's the case.
Secondly, clickbank says that in general these individuals want to see a conversion rate of 2% or more... how can I achieve this when I've just created my clickbank landing page and haven't had the opportunity to drive traffic to it yet? I've made just under 10 sales on my main webpage in an entire year, but most of my clients purchase personal training with me and they all get a copy of this for free. In other words, most people who come to my site are in my local area and want to work with me in person.
Do I need to make sales on my own through this page first before contacting an affiliate? If so, how? Drive a ton of traffic there via a ton of money through google.... or?
Lastly, can anyone give me a general idea of how to proceed including tips, tricks, or ideas about how to approach potential affiliates or how I can make adjustments to my new landing page? (Let me know if I can even post that here, i'm not sure if that's allowed). I am going to be filming a video for this page soon because I think that will help with conversions, but I'm just not sure if there's anything else I can do to make it more enticing for now.
Essentially, this product is still in the review stage on ClickBank and should be available to pitch affiliates in the next few days and I want to make sure I do everything possible to ensure this product is successful and reaches as many people as possible. Everyone who's received this has loved it and it made serious impacts on their life. It's a shame it's just sitting here and not reaching the people it could be reaching.
Thanks for any ideas, support, or help! I'm kind of lost.
