Is ClickBank stealing my earnings?

Clickbank's reporting is actually very poor. You have to dig deeper to get actual daily amounts (Reporting > Transactions).

What happened is that you got a total of 6 sales.

Out of those 6 sales, you had 3 refunds.

$150 - $100 = $50 Commissions.

You are treating it as 9 sales with 3 of them being refunds. Wrong thought process

I am promoting clickbank product past few years, as per their policy guidelines there will be no mistake till today, May be your calculation is wrong,
If you thought there is extra amount charged from your account, contact the customer care support, they will reply to you ASAP.

Yes you are. What you have missed is taking the opportunity to read and understand CB's terms of service that govern how they handle customer refunds. Why wouldn't the refunded amounts not come out of the sale proceeds? Where else are they supposed to come from?

I haven't received any proceeds from those sales yet.

They took the money from my current payout which is from previous sales that weren't refunded.

I haven't had a calculation problem with Clickbank. There are other fees, if you sell for $150, your making like $135 after clickbank fees or even less if an affiliate sold it.

Never had any issues on Clickbank. I doubt very much they are "stealing" from you. Due to the nature of the business, would they really ever risk that?

This reminds me when I joined CB few years ago. I made sales for more than $100 and I requested a check for payment then refunds starts to increase, the balance start to be eaten and after few months I couldn't access my account anymore. W E I R D !!

If someone buys a product from you it has a 60 days money back period to ask his money back .If he ask for money back you will not receive that money .Clickbank will send the money back from your acount .Clickbank makes milions it will not enjoy at your 100$ to steal from you trust me

Clickbank keeps a percentage of your earnings for a while, in case there are refunds. If there are refunds, they pay the refunds, and still keep a percentage of whatever sales you still have. After the refund period passes, they give you the money they kept.

The short and simple answer is no, Clickbank is not stealing your earnings, because Clickbank isn't stupid enough to risk their entire business by illegally shaving from their affiliates. There is nothing shady going on with your payment from Clickbank's end.

You will get $50.

Not $150.

To help you further understand this imagine this:

You are a product creator and your product is $100.

You have an affiliate who sells 6 of them.

You give 50% commissions.

Total Revenue is $600
Your affiliate gets $300
You get $300.

Make sense so far right? Good.

3 refunds for this product.

Total Revenue: $600
Refunds: $300
Net: $300
Your affiliate now gets $150
You now get $150

Make sense?

Hopefully it does.

ClickBank has no reason to "steal your earnings"

I've been Publishing with Clickbank for six years and never found an error. Their earnings reporting page can be confusing if you're just starting out. Clickbank Customer Support is very responsive.

It sounds like the real problem here is the product you are promoting, not Clickbank's accounting practices.

If you make 6 sales and 3 people want their money back, that's indicative of a product that is not living up to it's advertising.

Have you purchased the product yourself? If not, I'd pick it up or maybe ask the vendor for a review copy. You're working on a 50% refund rate, and that's not even close to acceptable. You need to ask yourself if the hard work you are doing to send targeted traffic to that offer is worth it if you have to give back half of the money you make from it.

I could see if you only sold 2 and 1 person wanted a refund. That could just be a fluke or maybe a serial refunder, etc. But 6 sales and 3 people aren't happy? As far as I'm concerned that's more than enough data to tell me there's a quality issue.

As for what's happening with Clickbank, the issue I think you're talking about is that you've been paid out for all 6 sales already, and when 3 people asked for a refund, they will take it out of your future payments until you are all caught up.

There's no problem with Clickbank. My advice is to find a better product to promote, and make sure you get the product yourself FIRST and make sure it delivers on every claim made on the sales page.
