I love asking customers and readers what they want me to write about Kendra. I'd think of the problem your business solves, and create from that.

As for actual content channels, I do what I love; blogging, videos, podcasting, guest posting. Follow your passion.

Any content that helps to solve a problem in your niche is good content.

Don't limit to text, it can be a video, powerpoint presentation, infographics, mindmap or free report...

Big on leveraging here T S. I have been leveraging content through a few of the above channels, along with other blogger networks, to expand my presence. I create a blog post and tend to base a guest post on a similar concept, then create a podcast, video across a few networks, then I share that video across many sites like my social media, Quora, Steemit and the Huffington Post.

Study your competition actions. Use tools like socialinsider.io for facebook analytics, brand24.com for influencers and content ideas, buzzsumo for the most shared content for your niche.

Find out what are the unmeet need for your business audience and write content for them, help them with useful guides. Always give them and not focus on sales in the first place.

On the internet people search for answers, they want solutions to their problems.

What are some of the quick tips, solutions that you can give away to your target audience?

What are some of the burning questions your customers have?

You can also ask your current customers or go on forums/groups and see what are some questions people ask a lot.

With the question in hand, you can construct a solution. It can be a 300 word article, or 3,000. All it matters is that it clearly addresses the problem and offer a solution
