The bigger question is, what's your potential buyers using?

If you don't know, ask them, they'll tell you.

Due to the international Money Laundering Law, all of the Payment gateway is not working in all Countries. So you should choose the best one in your country. I have been using the Paypal & Skrill for a long time without any problem. These two sites is top level site, you can use these site if you want. According to me the Paypal is the best Skrill. Thanks for your advance.

I would try to get the PayPal account reinstated if you can. I am pushing PayPal right now after I submitted the documents so they can get it reinstated. I can't afford to not use PayPal since so many of my customers want to use them.

I found the Paypal is the best one. So you can cross the limit. Beside the Paypal I have been using the Skrill. Firstly The Skrill has a limit also, currently I do not have any limit. Thanks for your interest.

Stripe is a great alternative. There are a couple other options but, personally I use stripe and I haven't had any problems with it.
You said you're looking for a payment processor that is "better than paypal". Whether or not stripe is better than paypal is up for discussion but, the key factors I believe would determine which one is better are:
    -Fees
    -Customer service
    -API

    Fees

    Paypal
    • Charges a transaction fee of 2.9% + .30 per sale
    • Recurring billing feature is $10 per month
    • Fee for charging cards on your website is $30 a month
    • Fixed refund fee
    • Chargeback fee $20
    • Advanced fraud protection fee $10 per month
    • Charges a fee of 5% +.05 per sale for payments less than $10
    • International card fee is 1%

    Stripe
    • Charges a transaction fee of 2.9% + .30 per sale
    • Recurring billing feature is free
    • No fee for charging cards on your website
    • No refund fee
    • Chargeback fee $15
    • No advanced fraud protection fee
    • Charges same flat rate for payments less than $10
    • No international card fee

    Customer Service

Paypal - My experience with paypal's customer service has been pretty good to be honest. I've been using paypal since 2011 without any issues. However, I have heard horror stories of accounts getting frozen, and paypal support nightmares. So, I would say that paypal's customer service is great but you have to make sure you follow their rules and sell a quality product and service. Paypal has phone support that has been great in my experience. Anytime I had an issue, I was able to get in touch with a representative that helped me solve my problem quickly.

Stripe - My experience with stripe's customer service has also been great. I've only been using Stripe for about 2 years and haven't processed as much money with them as I have with paypal. I use Stripe solely as an alternative in case I have some issues with paypal (which isn't very often). Stripe provides email support and no phone support. Personally, I have no complaints about the lack of phone support, because their email support is fast and efficient.

    API
Before Stripe, Paypal's API was one of the worst in the industry. However, one of the reasons Stripe was able to make a name for itself was because of the clean and user-friendly API. Since then Paypal has improved their API significantly to compete with Stripe, but Stripe still has the cleaner and better documented API

That was just a quick look at some of the differences between Stripe and Paypal. Hopefully you can use this to decide whether or not Stripe is the right alternative for paypal or whether you want to look into some of the other options out there.

A month after starting the thread you say 'oh by way - I'm in Egypt'.... a country where PP is difficult to use and Stripe is not available.

You've had a lot of advice in the thread - but it's possible none of it applies in your country. There are several sites that talk about international payments through Bank of Egypt and Shopify advertises payment solutions in Egypt.

Find sites selling in your country and see what payment solutions they are using - talk to your bank and ask what international payment methods are available.

The sad thing is, you want to make money, you need paypal.
I was asking myself same question last few years. I've even tried to offer my product payments via Skrill, but the first question from every customer was: 'Great product, but how can I pay with paypal?'.
