Why don't you try to buy some?

Google your desired niche + leads and you'll find plenty of sellers.

        Hey Mr Cranky

Show some respect to others on the forum! what D said was right look at buying so you know what is selling and what is not and for what price

Also I would spend a day or two in the offline section of the forum reading threads you may learn a thing or two to help you in your business

That is precisely why seeing what your competitors advertise / sell leads for is a good place to start.

You could also call business owners directly. More time consuming, though.

With leads, keep in mind that how you get them is very important.

Don't go to, say, a mortgage lender and say, I've got mortgage leads for you. Say, instead, I have leads that are currently looking to buy a house. They say their score is not that good, so an FHA loan is probably their best bet. They're looking to buy a house in the 200 to 220k range and have 6% down payment. Also, they're looking at single family houses in Hanahan or north Charleston.

If you look into buying the leads in various categories - you would see pricing and know what various lead categories are selling for.

I'm not convinced all of those listed routinely pay for leads - it may depend on where the leads are from and where the company is located.

It sounds as if you have a broad idea but no specific information to start a business yet....you'll have to do the research and check out the competition.
