How do you securely deliver your digital product?

I have a digital product on Clickbank. I am using E-Junkie to deliver the product securely after customers make a purchase. The problem is that when I use E-Junkie to deliver the product, I can't track where sales are coming from in Google Analytics (cross-domain tracking doesn't work with E-Junkie). I must therefore find another way to deliver the product without using E-Junkie.

How do you guys securely deliver your digital products?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I obviously don't want to just send customers to a download page on my site because they can share the download page.

  • I use Digital Access Pass to deliver mine.

I'm sure that you can upload it to JVZoo and use that to protect your files if you're stuck for something quick.

Woocommerce can handle digital products too, if you're using Wordpress. There's no shortage of awesome platforms out there, for every budget.

  • Have you read through Ejunkie solutions for this - https://www.e-junkie.com/ej/help.tracking.htm

Seems they can integrate analytics code with buy button removing the dependency on download page...I do not use this as I DO use Ejunkie for a few of my ebooks but choose to manage the thank you page and password to secure directory on my domain on our own. Less secure, but we simply change it once every 2-3 weeks and revise the thank you email sent upon successful order of our products.

    • Hi.

Yes, cross-domain tracking is not possible when using E-Junkie to deliver ClickBank products. No matter how I set it up, I could not see where conversions were coming from in Google Analytics. I had a lengthy discussion about the problem with user E-Junkie_Guru in the E-Junkie community forum, whom seemed to think that it was possible. Unfortunately, it's not. I'd post the link to the forum conversation, but I'm not sure if it's allowed. I then contacted a bunch of Google Analytics "experts", explained the situation, and asked if it's possible. They all said no.

I still hope that there is a way. I terminated my E-Junkie subscription today because of it!

Do you use E-Junkie Buy Now buttons to sell your ClickBank products? Have you set up cross-domain conversion tracking in Google Analytics? Can you see where conversions are coming from in your Google Analytics account?

If so, please tell me how you did it.
  • I use jvzoo, no problem so far
