The Real Reason Why You Fail To Make Money Online?

There`re so many people who quit their 9-5 jobs in order to start their own online businesses and make money online.

Unfortunately though, there are also many people who are unable to make their dreams a reality despite of their hard work.

So I think that the problem usually comes with a failure to have a solid business strategy or plan.

I`m sure that you may know that there are many ways to promote product ideas on the internet. However, you do not have a clear picture of what products have a market and who that market is that they need to reach.

Rather than going on trouble fail to make money online, you should create a solid, stable foundation from these criteria before you start.

Are there any other reasons to not make money money online, sure there are! So can you share us some!

All my best,
-Omar Saady

What possible good comes of people giving excuses (i.e., 'listing reasons') they can't make money online?

Yes, I said 'excuses'. For most people it's no different than not showing up for an offline job. If you don't do the work, you don't get a paycheck. When it comes to 'online' - people seem to forget that.

There are so many threads devoted to "why you can't succeed" and if you look at this forum you'll notice those discussions have more 'views' (and posts) than the detailed "how to succeed with..." Why is that?

Much better to stop providing excuses for failure (i.e., mindset, family dynamics, blah de blah blah blah) and focus on how to make IM work for you. Self analysis and naval gazing don't pay well.

I talked to a woman yesterday who had just been fired from an offline job she started two weeks ago. She was complaining "it's not fair" - but fact is she didn't show up for work 3 times in the first 8 days. She had a lot of reasons and explanations - but they boiled down to "something else was more important than showing up for work that day". Unfortunately, that's the way many seem to approach working online.

Yes, I also believe that people spend most of the time blaming the systems or other people for their lack of effort when the reason they fail is that they don`t take consistent action, and marketing is about that.

I think lots of people have solid plans and a good business strategy.

Where they fall down is to over-estimate demand and income.

I personally believe that most fail online because they can't generate quality / cost effective traffic & leads.

If you can do that, you can pretty much overcome anything else that you may have problems with in your sales process and test/tweak to improve.

Many people the traffic is the problem but I believe it is not.

The problem is in conversions. There's plenty of traffic but if your ad/page, copy and follow up is not congruent with your message and consistent you will not close deals no matter how much traffic you have.

You need a solid sales and marketing funnel with follow up where people learn to know, like and trust you. Then it won't matter what you offer to them, they will buy. And the real business is in repeat customers. My $0.02

    Real reason's most fail?

    1. Afraid to fail.
    2. Lack of real effort, it's not easy or fast.
    3. Lack of focus to stick to one idea and follow through with a plan.

I think those 3 are at the top.

Agreed on all 3 Matthew. I had a tough time for the first few years online because I didn't dive in; feared to fail, so I self-sabotaged by not even trying LOL. Lunacy. Then when I dove in, I didn't put in proper effort. And the focus - or lack thereof - thing got me too.

When I cleared some deep fears and fell in love with blogging, creating and serving, all came together for me, money-wise and success-wise.

It's usually NOT through lack of effort but this...

    1. They LACK any REAL direction in terms of which ONE strategy they want to work with.

    2. They try and GO OUT and learn EVERYTHING themselves from scratch.

All you need to do to compress decades into DAYS is to find someone who's already getting the results you want and copy them!!!

But with all the B.S. and other nonsense hitting us every day, it's so EASY to get sucked into rabbit holes of information that isn't going to help you on your journey.

I learned everything myself and did quite well, most successful people have done it all on their own, unless of course we include the network of friends that promote their product,

The real success comes from networking, you can have a garbage product and break 100k in a day with the right friends...You can have the best product in the world and not make a dime online.

    I agree with Kay.

The point is nobody knows exactly why someone fails - but it's almost certainly a combination of several factors, including the personal circumstances and back story of that particular individual. I doubt anyone's actually been helped by seeing lists of the same old excuses trotted out time and time again.

Good point Omar. Gotta have that sound plan.

I'd add.....energy. Meaning, most human beings, - let alone online entrepreneurs - do things from a fear-based energy of lack and limitation because they work outside in. All they do is notice lack or not enough, bringing their focus to loss, and that energy makes them live in an online version of the movie Groundhog Day LOL. Loss, then more loss, no matter how much or even how smart you work, you back your actions with loss, so you will manifest or create loss. Aka, little or no dough.

I found myself in the loss matrix for years. Had to be honest with myself, embrace these feelings of loss - which was unpleasant - but when I felt and let 'em go, I did stuff from a higher, stable energy of love or fun. Which caused me to note *all I had* versus all I was losing. I felt good. I created. I co-created. I helped others. I opened income streams. Money flowed in.

Just sold a handful more eBooks yesterday and blogging course today. The old me would have taken months on end to earn those profits. The new me loves serving, seeing all I have, everywhere, traffic and friends and love and shares and blessings wise, and makes more money online.

The money is extra to me. Icing on the cake. Cherry on top. The intent/goal/focus is on the work, which is play. The work/play is the reward, and all else (traffic/money/etc) is extra. This attitude helped me to profit online as it has helped other folks profit online too.

Those who said become an expert at what you do are right. I am sure you've all heard of or read about rich people. people who have more money than they can do with. How did they become so rich. I am talking about self made not inheritance.
They don't care about the money they don't even look at money, because money is the byproduct.
Byproduct of what you might ask.
Byproduct of playing the game. They are players. Playing the game. Just like chess or poker. They want to be the best and when you are the best money comes as a byproduct.
If you take your car to the shop for repair. Why do you take it to the one and not the other? Because they are better than the other. How did they become better? By playing the game. They educated themselves and doing their best. Learnt their trade. Not cutting corners not scamming or cheating on their customers, know their stuff thus they have more customers and can charge a premium price. You want to become the best player.
Play the game. How do you become the best poker player, the best chess player, the best cyclist, the best artist, the best photographer, the best car repair mechanic? Playing the game. Learn learn and learn the game and you'll be the best player one day. Just be a player.

  • There are a lot of reasons actually, why most people fail in their IM endeavors- some are out of focus, some do not have a concrete plan of what to do and what not to, some fail because they easily give up, and the list goes on. However, most of these people do not realize that when starting out, the risk of failing is higher than success. There is no definite formula to success and most especially, there is no one here who have achieved success overnight. It takes a lot of effort, time, and even money to make it successful.

Maybe I'm old fashioned but I believe to the good old market truth: demand generates supply. If what you sell meets the demand (full blown or hidden) you win.
Your product can be a review, a kitchen tool, a recipe, a service but the point is still that.

Marketing, SEO, technology etc. are all secondary to the main idea, they just tools.

No matter how much money and effort you spend on a Pontiac Fiero, It will never be a Ferrari F40.

There is no success which doesn't begin with a brilliant intuition. Intuition is often born from a personal need. The biggest successes of the internet sea were born from an unfulfilled need of the founders. If your unfulfilled need is in common with a million other people, then you'll have the right condition to have success. Otherwise not.

It all comes down to FOCUS.

This is the main reason in my opinion. If you get
distracted every five seconds you will never get
    something going.

So turn off all social media, TV, phone, email, music,
door bell, close the windows and get to work.

You have to become better at your thinking.

I already posted this quote from Albert Einstein in another thread today.

"We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them."

Must people fail because they find the problem and don't understand that they need to change is themselves, their line of thinking and the perspective from where they seeing the problem.

When you are bigger than your problems you usually find the solution effortlesly

Most people who 'try' to succeed online are insane...they keep doing the same things...spending more time doing 'due diligence' and research instead of actually Implementing (putting into physical practice / action) what they are learning.

They expect things to change without them changing.

Most don't do the work...income producing activities because most don't believe they will make the kind of money they want to make.

This all stems from having a mindset that works against you instead of for you.

So in a nutshell...Mental issues first need to be fixed inside your very own MIND before you can stop sabotaging your very own success.

    Personal Development is needed daily!

i think there are three main reasons:

    1. people think they must make money, and not spend any money, e.g. to buy traffic, domain or education.

    2. people have the wrong attitude, you don't believe in themself, don't want do any hardwork and importantly they don't want to learn and research.

    3. even if you have the kind of money and the right attitude, you still need to right process, just like any machine, you put in the raw material, on the end you will see the finished product.

make money online is like a machine, you have to know what the end result you want to achieve, or goal setting. have a clear mind and focus.

the goal must be a very very small goal, for example if you have a new instagram account, a goal can be 1000 follower by the end of month.

then you need to engineer the process, what you could do to put this new account into a machinery and come out with an end product.

these processes can be, follower niche leader, comment, buy shoutouts and so on, then you have to do some maintains with each of those steps to make sure they are doing their work to reach the end result.

by the way, if you haven't reach it by your set time, don't worry, just keep doing, attitude to success.

finally, just add another tip ... mmm ... should i call this a tip? yep, you need some luck as well.

The real reason people quit or fail is that they work for money instead of having money work for them.

Working for money online is harder than offline, therefore, most people quit quite soon. However, if you're smart enough to figure out how to let your money work for you, you're going to go far.

I took the idea from the book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" written by Robert Kiyosaki that I read two years ago. It completely changed my point of view about money and how it works.

In my opinion, everyone should read that book before they attempt anything at all.

  • The main reason why person gives up is lack of interest which gradually decreases, another is lack of dedication towards hard work which involves all kind of online marketing techniques. Since it not old 9-5 hours office work which at last results in fixed amount to money which gets transferred to your account in traditional office work. But here in case of Making Money online is not restricted to any fixed time, the more you work hard for your site promotion the best and beautiful results you are able to receive.

Thanks in anyway... just be concentrated towards work.

    Cheers

Most listen to con men selling fake systems and MMO plans that just do not convert.

If you listen to the 'fake gurus' they all say the same thing, social media this and that, well social media is the biggest waste of time for MMO, you either need to learn expert level IM skills and then learn how to market them locally or nationally or find that rare affiliate program with something REAL that converts and listen to that company on how to get their products and services in front of either businesses and consumers.

Just look at engagement numbers for the huge celebrity accounts, 50 Million to 100 Million followers and they get a tiny fraction of engagement. The reason is SM is over saturated.

So you have no chance in SM with 1,000 or 10K or even 100K followers that are real, the reason is your marketing is lost on timelines that over saturated.

Now DM to local owners does work, but very few know how to do it and then either you or the company you rep for better perform.

It's easy to say you can do something, but doing it takes real skills that 99.9% of the MMO crowd do not have.

    My 2 cents
